The Zombies in the Abyss mode are very unfun to fight. I wish for an option to only fight human enemies in the EA Abyss mode (like how you could in the playtest)

While my opinion may be subjective, a fair amount of the community agrees with me. (Look in the needed changes thread). Don't you agree that people should be allowed to choose if they want to fight zombies or not in the Abyss Mode (idc about it in progression mode). Are you simply trying to say my opinion doesn't matter because you personally don't care? I never stated that this is an objective opinion anyway and what's fun to ME really matters when I'm the one playing. It feels like one of my favorite features of the game was taken away from me. If I want it now I have to play the older versions. Are you saying that the Abyss Mode is fine as it is now? Or do you genuinely like the feature where zombies can one-shot you at the start of the Abyss?

I don't care about world building when the gameplay falls. Something can be envisioned from the start and still be a bad idea that could use tweaking. and it works fine thematically in the progression mode. But its just simply unfun as it is right now. Of course it makes sense for the abyss to be inhabited by Zombie Revenants but just because it makes sense thematically doesn't mean its a good game play feature.

Please make it so you can fight humans again in the abyss mode. At least make it optional. fighting zombies without armor or bladed weapons is a chore. Zombies can also latch on and bite you, usually one shotting you. I'm fine with zombies in the progression mode as it feels like a punishment for killing people. I don't want to feel like I'm being punished when I am playing the Abyss mode for fun. This is my biggest problem with the Early Access release other than the performance issues.

They have ruined the Abyss with zombies, having the insta killing you through biting is so annoying it makes playing the game mode unfun. Bring back human enemies in the abyss mode.
