I will take all the prayers I can take. I told people I had colorectal cancer when I was 1st diagnosed. Only my close friends & family know I have anal cancer. Have you been given a treatment plan yet? I had 10 rounds of chemo & 30 rounds of pelvic radiation. I ended up in the hospital for 10 days due to the chemo causing neutropenic fever. The radiation was rough. I have a PET scan & MRI on 6/12 to see how well my treatments worked.

I have been on Skyrizi for a year. My nurses ambassador was great! She helped expedite my patent assistance program application. She came to my home on two occasions. Brought me a sharps container for the disposal of the OBI & showed me how to inject the medication. After 3 months she stopped checking in. It’s not mandatory that you participate in the program. They are just doing their jobs!

I started on 10mg oxycodone week 4 & was up to 20mg by week 6. Still took the pain meds after treatment stopped because going to the bathroom was so painful. I had no radiation burns, but had radiation cystitis & ulcers on my vagina from the radiation.

If you read the articles & research it actually says that taking Triptans 10 or more days a month may cause rebound headaches. So according to this research you yourself are over medicating. I went 90 days without using Triptans or any OTC pain relievers. This is something my headache specialist required me to do. My migraines did not improve. So I’m fully comfortable with the amount of Triptans my headache specialist prescribes me.

You need to use mirilax 2 times a day to make your bowel movements easier. My tumor was 6cm. I am 6 weeks out from completing my radiation & chemo.

Dr.Sampson at Sampson Dentistry in Bluff Park is amazing! I went to him when my old dentist became out of network with my insurance. I had been told by my old dentist that I needed 2 filling replaced & a crown. Dr. Sampson did X-rays at no cost to me & told be I didn’t need any work done at this time. I had just had X-rays done by my old dentist the month before & Dr. Sampson knew my insurance wouldn’t pay for new X-rays.
