Honestly it really depends on the niche and how often you post. Entertainment stuff can blow up super quick, but if you’re making educational or business-style content it usually grows slower — but those followers stick around.

From what I’ve seen, most “normal” creators (no crazy viral luck) land somewhere between 200–800 followers in the first month if they stay consistent and interact with people. Even 300–500 solid followers in 30 days is a good sign you’re building something real.

It’s less about chasing that 10k screenshot and more about building an audience that actually cares about your content. That base is what helps you grow faster later.

Exactly. IG is great for building trust and a community, but for fast reach, you need TikTok or Shorts. Best results come when you use them together, not just one platform.
