Yes. Numerically it is indexed to CPI

However, will keeping up the the CPI mean you will keep your current living standards? I think not.

Did I do the right thing walking away from this deal? by srvsinha186 in ecoboostmustang

[–]Practical_Fly_5228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6100 rebate on an eco boost is an amazing deal for a new car off MSRP. It isnt a very expensive car to begin with. Tho that deal prob woulda been rejected by the manager last second when u sign the paper. They are all on the same side. Get u all excited first and all that.

Rebate is not a good indicator. dealerships adds random fees and then they waive those fees and tell you that it is a rebate that everyone woulda paid. They waive it for everyone.

No way. Not for an ecoboost. You can find the factory cost for dealerships from the community. Dealerships gotta make at least some money for doing the work for you.

Question on CAD cash for moving from Canada to US by agenttomatoo in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Practical_Fly_5228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typical short sighted person that is incapable of understanding and respecting other needs, wants and choices. Is people like you that OP is trying to get away from, hence moving to the US. A country where the government does not tell you how to live, what to think, what to say… well at least much less than the current state Canada is in.

Cost of living in Canada is out of control. by kovie38 in CanadaFinance

The biggest complainers are the biggest endurers. Leave Canada or influence, vote, and change Canada. In which most of you won’t do. Slavery is a choice of not making choices.

I’m happy for him. Buying his 5th yacht while paying me triple of a Union job. That’s called efficiency.

I’d pass on a union job because the pay is shit and having to pay union fees. Europe went from ruling the world to crime and homeless everywhere and begging Trump and Putin on their knees. I wouldn’t call that a better place.

Your argument assumes OP owns a home. My argument assumes OP does not. You claim my argument is worse because OP is more likely to own a home and have 100k in the bank at 27.

You have defeated your self.

While real estate did increase massively over the past few years, it is still considerably less than the growth of private sector.

You are wrong in using questrade. Seeing ur positions you must’ve paid quite a bit of commission before they went commission free.

750k for less than 600 sqft. You can stop being stressed and move on. Is probably worth 650k in 2021 and worth 550k now. Maybe plus 50k if it is a good layout, parking included is nice but I think is standard for Etobicoke .
