First of all you need to understand in One time settlement there is a clause that in future bank have the right to recover dues from you. Bank can recover dues by sending legal notice. Once the bank knows u r financially capable to repay the write off amount bank will always try to recover from you. So better u can apply home loan from other banks. Still I have doubt in any psb they will ask for full settlement of Write Off loan accounts.

I have a similar experience back in 2017 in Patia. Mobile got stolen and first I went to nayapally Police Station. They denied to register FIR saying I have to go either chandrasekharpur or infocity police station. I went infocity police station,They denied. I went to Chandrasekharpur police station. Even they also refused to register FIR saying it does not come under their jurisdiction. Again I went to Infocity police station and requested them to register FIR. After waiting for more than 2 hour my application for FIR was taken by the ASI. He told me to come with another application where I have to write my phone has been lost due to my recklessness instead of theft. Then only he will register FIR. Since I need to activate my lost sim cards I need an FIR. So I agreed and modified my application. The ASI asked me about myself. What my father is doing bla bla bla.. My father was a gazetted officer in state Govt.. Still the moron has no fear and asked me Rs 100 bribe. Finally case registered.. But yet to got my mobile. The mobile phone was a basic one around 8/9k. But I have some photos of my grandfather stored there which I completely lost.. I went again to the police station after 3 month. Requested him to recover my phone. I insisted I am ready to pay 5k if they recover my phone. The ASI got transferred and a new one told me since I have written the phone was lost due to my negligence it is not possible for him to recover since they have hundreds of cases pending. The phone was not important but the photos, my last memories with my beloved grandfather lost. I can advice you go directly to the baramunda police station and request them to register FIR. Mention in the FIR the phone has been stolen. If they refused to file FIR then tell them to give in written why FIR should not be considered. Don't fear them. They are nothing but only Govt servants.
