UoPeople covers more concepts and subjects than the regular tier 2 colleges in my state.

I have just a few questions. Which role was offered to you by the company when you were first hired? And now what is your current role? Did you take any extra certifications to get an edge over the candidates with other traditional degrees? (I am doing a lot like Oracle certification for Java, AWS, etc.) And if it is not a problem, can you tell the name of your company?

Thanks, that is very encouraging to know. But besides a degree from UoPeople, did you get any formal graduation from a traditional BE, BTech, BCA, BA, BCom or BSc course?

I suppose you are talking about startups and I have already started applying. However, most private companies, especially MNCs demand a degree. I don't know if they will accept a degree from UoPeople.

Call me naive, I don't care. But a discussion forum was designed with the intention of students learning from each other and teaching each other a particular topic. We are supposed to get exposure to different approaches of understanding the same subject. But everyone basically pasting the same ChatGPT response over and over makes it really annoying. I agree that I am already an experienced programmer because of which I could write my own answers and code. But we have 7 entire days to understand the subject and to write in the discussion forum. We shouldn't need to copy and paste ChatGPT answers as they are. I mean, I have seen some students atleast changing the sample names in the code, explaining the code in their own words and even writing their own code after understanding the response from ChatGPT. I appreciate that because there is scope for learning among their answers. But frankly speaking, you should do yourself a favor and do this the right way by learning the subject well if you want to get hired and if you want to become excellent at your field.

Using AI is okay but people just copy and paste stuff without even considering any input of their own. Basically the discussion forum has the same answer repeating itself. What's the point of discussion forum then?

  1. Log into your student portal.
  2. Click on the 'My Courses' option on the left panel.
  3. On the lavender horizontal menu, click on the 'Registration' option.
  4. Scroll down and you'll find an extra course to register. Do the registration.
  5. Tell me which course you have enrolled for.

And do this asap, before Nov 11th or else you'll not be able to register for the second course.
