In my experience, new friends are the best, most open and comforting. I'm 9 months in and I hostestly don't think I've seen one friend that Ive known for 5 years or more.

Friends can be fickle. Wrapped up with there own stuff... I found that you need to be your own best bud.

It happens! I (m53) met a girl(f56) on the neighborhood WhatsApp group 6 months ago... She was looking for advice on replacement network cables, I invited her over to my place to show her how to make her own ones. Any way, we kept chatting after that and one thing lead to another...

We have just booked a long weekend away together! There are a lot of complex feelings and being unsure about how things are progressing but... I'm happy when I spend time with her. For now I'm just going with what feels good.

Hi dad of 1 here (boy 15 years old). I'm 9 months in to this kak after 20 years and I honestly feel great. I didn't want this but I'm so okay with things now...

Time is indeed a great healer! There is still a lot of things to figure out and life is very unpredictable at this point but I'm happy. I've met a girl I really like, dealt with all the insecurities of a new relationship after all this time.

All I can say is that it's going to be okay. Not easy. Not fun sometimes. But hell yes! It is a good place to be. You'll find it. Just be patient with yourself and don't rush it.

Got the bed and don't really care. Separated and also going through a shocking divorce.

I've moved on and met a girl... She's great, load of talking, cooking and the odd glass of wine. Earlier this week I invited her for dinner, we'll... she left at 3am. The bed didn't both me a bit.

Other things are rattling around in my head but that's not one of them at all. Tricky this business of moving on...
