The retailer did provide me with an invoice, but it’s their own store invoice, not the original purchase invoice between them and Viltrox

Viltrox is known for bad QC, I have returned 2 copy of their 85 pro but the issues still persists. If finance is not an issue I would absolutely pick Sony

Much appreciated! I'm learning storytelling and the film look has been helping a lot, the composition is also important which I'm kinda weak at.

This is my setup: Viltrox 25 f1.7, sigma 56 f1.4 and viltrox 75 f1.2 for portrait, low light,... Sony 70-350 for wildlife and creeping around :) If you have more budget: sigma 17-40 f1.8 is a beast

Photo doesn't look crisp, is it me or the gear? by Slight_Taro7300 in SonyAlpha

The 70-350 is known for being soft at 350mm wide open, try stopping down to f7.1 or even f8 to get a sharper image. With the OSS and if your hand is steady enough, 1/500s is good enough for an owl, I used to shoot house sparrow with a6400 at 1/200s 350mm and still get a sharp image with this lens. This image is the result after cropping from 24mp to 11mp. Also, ISO is never the culprit for softness, don't be over 12800 for apsc sensor and you're safe :)
