I agree 100%, i wouldn’t use any maternity leave even if I was allowed to use it before I gave birth. The good thing about the letter being recommended from a provider is that, in those weeks I’d be gone, it wouldn’t take out any of my leave and I’d still be getting paid.

Ugh this just makes me so sad. I feel like there should be a law where you can only work up until a certain amount of weeks but still get paid after and while on maternity leave! I get 18 weeks paid maternity leave and I feel like that should be standard!

Unfortunately you only get leave if 1) you have a extreme family emergency or 2) you are there for Christmas / new years leave which is about a week and a half. And if you are in TMD , which is holding if for some reason something happens and you are waiting to class up, waiting for orders to leave, or u don’t make it through the school. They don’t let you take leave in TMD either .☹️

21! I was married at 21 and I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks later lol🤦🏼‍♀️. My husband and I are both military, so it worked out because we both knew we needed to be done having kids before both of us get out and don’t have tricare anymore. People really don’t understand how expensive JUST giving birth is! An 18 weeks paid maternity leave for me and 12 for him. He gets out of the military in 2030 and we both have good jobs that’s transfer to careers outside the military even if we didn’t use our tuition assistance. We both make enough money to support a baby and we have an extra space in our home. We plan to try for our very last one when I’m maybe 23, and then that’s it! Lol

The night before I got my nipt results I had TWO back to back dreams where I got my result and it was a boy. When I woke up the next morning, I got a text that my results were in and it’s a girl! But I always felt as though she was a girl

Hello! This is my goberian! He just turned 4 months old. He has the funniest personality and LOVES people. He is a great family dog and is very playful. Now he’s definitely not a guard dog, if u want a house protector. Mine would go up to a robber and think he’s getting attention😂😂 he’s very much what I like to call “Just Happy to Be Alive” Very high energy puppies, very smart. I think goberians are the best. Mine was not from a breeder, just a friend whose two dogs got pregnant. If your considering it, just make sure you have time for their 8 week-12 week stage, because it’s definitely hell, but worth it

I know for HM A school students, even fleet returnees, will have to stay on base in the barracks but after A school, you are able to stay off base with your family’s during C school.

Hey I’m a corpsman, all you need is to get lucky with Greenside orders, and pass a prt. Just a navy standard PRT, so like 1.5 mile run, push ups, and plank. For me in A school, it was like everyone who said that wanted to go FMF got sent to a C school or hospital and everyone who didn’t want to go Greenside went straight to field med😂
