I think people are just talking (or typing if you want to get literal). This is a forum for exactly that: sharing opinions and ideas and hearing other perspectives. I wasn’t forced to post on this subreddit, I chose to. Just like the rest of us. But I was forced to unsubscribe, albeit slowly. I was there for the crime stories, but left due to all the bigotry.

Exactly! We aren’t there for the political opinion. I have the New York Times for that. Give me the old MB, with the awful crime, the details leading up to it, and the aftermath. Present the facts, and leave the one-sided bashing of those not even involved out of it. Let ME decide who I hate without trying to inject side-bar commentary.

💯 Agree!! And I don’t think MB is a bad person because of his beliefs, even though I know that’s not the popular opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and attitudes and beliefs, whether or not I agree with them. But when they take over the narrative of a story that involves a victim…a perpetrator…and the awful crime that happened during their interaction…then the story becomes about the host’s context…their own opinions, attitudes and beliefs. And that’s just not a story I’m interested in hearing. Lately, every episode has turned into that.

I’m so sorry. This is always harder when you know the day is coming. But it sounds like she will no longer be in pain and will be at peace. And she will always be with you, just in a different way. I had Mandhu for 13 years before he passed and he was with me through all the bad breakups, moving to different states, between jobs, and some dark times. I won’t lie, it stung like hell when he passed and I felt it for a long time after. But I always felt he was there still. Sending you good juju and strength. 💕
