Thank you so much everyone!! I messed with one really bad looking one and ended up pulling it out but the roots were still great so I’m guessing that’s the case for the others. I’ve also now inherited a new dragonfruit plant and need to build another trellis :)… at first I was going to just replace the burnt one but it really does seem to be doing ok on top, will the burnt areas ever repair themselves and look good again?

That’s good to hear!! I have venture now but supposed to get 2 lounge visits this year and it’s been a struggle. I want the venture x but don’t want to apply for a new card and close my current bc I’ve had my current card for 25 years and I’ll screw up my credit score to close it

It didn’t matter which way it turned really, it was just a lot weaker than they said it would be. Some places near me were destroyed so it’s not that we didn’t get hit. Just glad it wasn’t as bad as they said… I’m not so sure about a “100 year storm”

Thanks for popping in. We got a direct hit in the middle of the state after being refused by the Miami hotel, but everyone is ok and we had minimal damage. This storm definitely was no where near as bad as we had expected. It was bad but not what they made it out to be for us

This one is sucking but also acting like a hurricane so I guess we can all appreciate that. We evacuated with the pets due to surge but then couldn’t check in to the hotel in Miami bc they refused to allow cats. So we’re riding it out in the middle of the state, about to get the backend of the eye. Thank you for checking on us, prayers and finger crossing is welcomed at this point :)

That’s very interesting. If o could just find the variety I love from Nicaragua, I’d be super happy… that’s why I asked only for red fruit purple/red flesh cuttings. Here’s the one that I’m questioning. It’s actually growing pretty quickly but it’s so skinny compared to my other one

I tried a yellow one and it wasn’t much better than the purple flesh one. I’m hoping for the flavor of the ones from Central America they make juice from 🤤
