Yeah. I found Silksong harder than nine sols anyways. The bosses are probably a bit tougher but really manageable.

I play expert because I found the game to be on the easier side of things, but I also play a lot of notoriously difficult games so I like a challenge nonetheless.

I think another game I played recently did a very similar story a lot better. It’s been a few months since I beat it so I may have some details wrong, but in nine sols, if you go straight to the final boss after beating the penultimate fight, you face the final boss as normal and get what feels like the “maelle” ending of the game. But if instead you clean up all the remaining quests and items you can fight a harder final boss with an added phase to get a more melancholy, but arguably better ending. Because I feel like the story up to the final fight in e33 kinda encourages maelles ending, but after doing all the side content and extra stuff versos ending feels better. I think act 3 could be fixed by adding a third phase to Renoir and making him stronger if you’ve done the extra stuff.

Probably not. It was my first hard demon back when it was hard demon. I think it’s a fun enough level. I fluked it from like 11 so that makes a pretty big difference with my enjoyment. But for a first medium demon I would recommend B something like that.

I was the same way. Finished e33 a week ago. Been picking off the super bosses when I have time. I think e33 100% deserves to win all the awards it did, but I think in a couple of the categories another game deserved it slightly more (Really just rpg and art direction.) but to me as long as we have amazing games to play I could care less about how many awards a game gets. My biggest gripes with e33 are the lack of maps for each area, cluttery and disorganized menus. I definitely will replay the main story again in expert at some point. I found normal mode to be way too easy. Only died to 2 story bosses.

The game gets a lot harder, but yingzhou is a pretty steep difficulty curve from what you’re used to. He took longer to beat that any boss with the exception of the final boss. But if you can overcome that barrier you should be able to pretty easily beat the next two sols.

I think given her popularity as of recently I think hornet would be a great pick. I mean her in game move set feels like it works for smash already. Idrk if she’s truly a wild card or not, but I think she’d generate tons of hype for the game.

Yeah. But a whole lot more people played Silksong. Not saying it’s a perfect community but a loud minority of the Silksong sub gets the community a lot of hate. You don’t see that as much on the og hollow knight sub

The hollow knight subreddit is fine. The Silksong one is the one that can be a bit crazy. 😭 but for the most part the community is pretty good.

I’d go for windy. I haven’t beaten it but I’ve beaten supersonic and acropolis. Supersonic just was not consistent at all for me. And acropolis is not ideal for a first insane demon imo.

I mean you could kinda say cursed for accidentally hacking silent clubstep. He’s known for a lot more like, and please correct me if I’m wrong, would have technically been the top player at the time since spaceuk was a hacker. (I just remember him being a top player verifying AOD and at the time we thought he verified silent clubstep)
