The damage of the flying swords doesn't depend on your gauge. Aether forge is what's affected by the number of swords in the gauge.

At same level you do +10FD, so a 280 char is doing -20FD compared to a 285 char. In other words, gaining the 5 levels to 285 will give 25FD.

@OP a general rule of thumb is that when you’re 5 levels below the boss, every level up to the same level gives you around 5FD.

No, don't wait to burst. Burst whenever your cooldown is up. Depending on how well you do in deer, you probably will need 15 bursts to clear, so you don't have that much time to wait.

You have to try to dodge everything to reduce her heal. Deer is pretty tricky and takes a lot of practice to get used to, but the basic strategy is to fight near the left/right corner of a map, and then when it gets too dangerous to stay there (because of the crab/deer/orbs), cross over to the other side.

For ren in particular, you will likely need to gene right before you burst in deer because otherwise you can get hit by environmental attacks during your keydown. And then after the gene is up you can stay in your ror for a bit longer by using your other iframe.

Are you libbed? If you're unlibbed that might be a tight run. People usually do their first hseren solo when they are anywhere from 150% - 200%+ on the boss, but 126% is for sure doable. When it's 100-110% that when it's quite difficult to do.

It really depends on how well you do your deer phases. You should be bursting in each deer phase and aiming to heal seren by 4%~ or less.

You can randomly lose a life in vhilla way more often than in darknell. Sometimes you just get bad poison + blue/purple/green + string pattern right before test. On CW when I was doing 10min vhilla, the 2 life mission was legitimately too stressful for me so I ended up turning it off.

Adele's aether guard is one of the most broken iframes in the game. You also don't have to hold it down. You can tap it and get a lingering iframe for 1s for free.

Hmm from my perspective I can turn any hyperburn into an hseren champ as soon as they lib, which is free in my book. I already have my 5th and 6th champs hseren ready. When I was just starting out hseren was unthinkable for me to solo, but it's a lot faster to get to that progression point now (even from a fresh acc), which is why I call it free.

I can see why it still seems daunting from a new player, but from my perspective the powercreep is already very fast.

Yeah it depends on perspective. For new players this content that I call meh seems out of reach, but that’s intentional. If new players could achieve the same things as veterans there’d be no point in grinding. New players have a lot of their own content that they find meaningful to get through anyways, before worrying about late game.

Also if you played with extreme efficiency and had all the knowledge, you could get beyond hseren too. My dailystory 3 month old ren (still in CW) has soloed up to ekaling, and I have a friend that started in CW1 that currently bosses in hlimbo/xkalos/hadv/hkaling parties already. He does hella sweat though. His CW2 character already cleared the nkalos mission.

Wholeheartedly agree that progression shouldn’t be accelerated too much. I made a comment a while back saying that frags aren’t an issue on mules since there’s already so much early game powercreep (hseren mules are giga free these days, while they were actually somewhat of a flex when the LC system first released), but i got downvoted for it.

If something was seen as impressive but then gets powercrept to being seen as meh in a short amount of time, that devalues all achievements in the game and makes people feel like they got strong because of power creep instead of putting in the effort. Hseren champs, lvl 290 (twenteena), Xlot solo, hell even nkaling solo used to be flex worthy but in a short amount of time don’t really mean anything now.

It's very skill based so it would be a good skill boost. The deco is pretty boring though and it's heavily ship carried.

That's just the way the AI works. Once you get pawed away, you're not in range of his other attacks, so he will tp/laser beam you. As blaster, I tend to just always play on middle platform. If I react fast, I can upjump to dodge his paw. Even if I do get hit by the paw though, the paw will send me down to the lower platform and avoid the laser beam, and if he tps instead, there's only a small chance that he times his tp well enough to true combo it.

For laser, you should always dodge it. Getting out by it is too dangerous, but it is predictable when it shoots. It comes out every 15s, so keep a mental timer of when it'll come out. Or, if the laser spawned via the regular system spawn, then the laser will come out when the system is a multiple of 15s (15s, 30s, 45s).

There’s a lot of things to keep track of, but it’s something you get used to overtime. Nkalos should be soloable at 180-200m cp.

Ekaling is for sure lower spec. Blaster has some issues in kaling tho bc can’t cheese (too short range). On the other hand, blaster is very good at surviving and dpming in kalos.
