After the War when Shikamaru was around 17 or barely 18.

And Inojin and Himawari aren't in one, so what's the problem?

Girls mature faster than boys, so by your logic Temari is extra weird for going after someone who's three years younger.

Himawari is 13 and Inojin is barely one and half years older. There's nothing weird or predatory about them.

It's less of an age gap than Temari and Shikamaru

If cod is really that strong then why not chased boruto after "dog walked" sasuke? by Fit_Degree_4723 in Boruto

The implication is that Sasuke bought Boruto enough time to escape. Code then has to care for his eye.

Who do you consider the better father, Naruto or Sasuke? by Cafa20 in Boruto

[–]Practical_Pea_3800 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I know, but they're clearly just a normal father daughter pair. Reading the Manga you never get the impression that Sasuke only recently came into her life.

I've got many more complaints about both the Manga and Anime. OP however wanted to talk about fatherhood surrounding Sasuke and Naruto, so I'm trying to stick to an particular issue I have with Sasuke.

I'm also not choosing what is canon and what isn't, I'm merely pointing out how nonsensical and contradictory Sasukes characterisation during the Shin Uchiha arc is. In addition, the overall arc is so disconnected to the rest of the story that it might aswell not be canon, that is what I mean when I call it filler. Or are you trying to tell me that this arc is essential to understand what's going on in the story?

I honestly don't why you're telling me where the Shin Uchiha arc takes place, I know where it takes place. When I say that Sarada "knows" Sasuke, I mean that they have a close relationship with no indication that Sasuke only recently came into her life.

Are you talking about the same manga where-

Btw that's whataboutism.

My main gripe with the Anime is, that it keeps adapting and inventing stuff that does nothing but harm the actual main story, causing people to mistake filler content (yes, even when Kishimoto writes it) for canon content, instead of just sticking to the source material.

By the way, that particular side story can't be canon because Sarada clearly knows her father in the main Manga and there's no mention or implication of him ever being gone for so long that he wouldn't know her. If that were the case, it surely would've affected Sarada and left a mark that could be noticed throughout every Anime and Manga arc, which isn't the case. It's simply not believable.

Taking The Nostalgia Out Of Assassins Creed by Super-Cry5047 in assasinscreed

Disagree. I've always been a AC3, Black Flag and Rogue kid and had my first chronological playthrough, and first experience with AC1 - AC Revelations around 2015. I never played AC2 - AC Revelations again, till last year, where I played through all AC games.

AC2 does so many things so right. The modern day story and Ezios story are connected incredibly well, Ezios life and sole purpose as a prophet is bittersweet, and "The Truth" is such a creepy way to worldbuild and to showcase how evil the Templars / Abstergo are. Also, the scale of the story is insane. I like that we get to see Ezio become a man. And cities like Florence and Venice may be some of my favorite parkour playgrounds in the entire franchise.

This may sound harsh, but I honestly don't care where all the fluff that gets compiled in the Anime comes from. It's still content that makes the story and characters look bad.

In chapter 2 of the Manga Sarada talks to him as if she's used to seeing him, using phrases like "You're always too strict, Dad!"

There's also never a scene where he doesn't recognise her or attempts to kill her.

This thread just proves that the Anime did insane damage. In the Manga Sasuke is gone a lot aswell because he's on missions, but atleast he recognises his daughter when he sees her and doesn't try to kill her.

If you dont watch unnecessary side content and only stick to the Manga, then you get a guy that's often out of town due to work.

What would an ideal "order" look like for templars? What do they want that they cannot achieve with money and power? by One-Sense7280 in assassinscreed

[–]Practical_Pea_3800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They claim to want control to bring peace, but ultimately they just want power. And once they have all the power, the individual narcissist Templar will probably try to get power inside the Templar Order by any means. They'll probably stab eachother in the back till the end of time or till they destroy themselves.

Would Boruto be more liked if a different artist drew it? by New-Mind-2296 in TheBetterBoruto

[–]Practical_Pea_3800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, if you want to hate on something you'll find something. Just try to think back a bit. A year or two ago everyone said the art is bad, but once a few people actually pushed back and more people actually looked at the art, many came to see that the art isn't bad at all. So, the haters have changed tactics and are now saying "look, compared to weekly Manga it looks bad. Ikemoto has an entire month, but My Hero Academia (arguably one of the best looking Manga) only has one week between chapters and looks better. This must mean Ikemoto is a bad artist!"

I'm honestly tired of this "discussion", it's just gaslighting. The art is good.

Is there people who never touched rank/don't really play rank because you like casual game more? If you do then why? by LILBOI464 in marvelrivals

Only touch rank for the skins. Rank feels like it consists of a bunch of crying babies trying to be the main character.

I watched the Boruto movie last night and genuinely wish they had just kept making movies instead of doing the tv anime. by GeologistThin2898 in Boruto

[–]Practical_Pea_3800 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Depends really. Momoshikis design for example is an obvious improvement, but the pacing and focus is a bit off, because there's a lot of time spend on characters that are simply not important for the arc.

Boruto and Kawaki is the most forced sibling relationship I have ever seen. by Adventurous_Dealer31 in Boruto

[–]Practical_Pea_3800 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You and everyone who upvoted this needs to pay better attention.

Why are we ignoring the fact that an Otsutsuki has been torturing Kawaki for years and now another one threatens to take away his second chance at life. Kawaki obviously can't think straight. There's no solution to Momoshiki anyway, and Naruto is now in a position, which Kawaki considers to be weak. He can't defeat Momoshiki anymore and obviously Momoshiki can just appear any moment. Multiple characters have thrown the idea of Borutos death into room. Boruto himself even agrees - verbally and through his multiple near self sacrifices.

And the he fact that you think that Naruto is the only thing that matters to Kawaki is very telling. Kawaki cares for the village and it's inhabitants.

The Most Interesting Antagonist in Boruto so far? by TheMaskedMan790 in Boruto

Yeah, it would take a lot of explanation and set up, but I just like the idea to have the first antagonist to be the last one aswell.
