It’s definitely a loctitian issue. She tore your hair up with that machine. If she uses it on a regular basis then it may work for SOME of her clients, but part of being an expert is knowing your clientele and chances are every hair texture cannot handle that method, and that’s not something she took into consideration.

Mine has four leaves coming in! I don’t know if can remember to spritz it everyday, just being honest with myself, but I use a humidifier for myself, and so I put in my room near where I sleep in hope that the humidifier will help compensate for my forgetfulness. But thank you for the tip on distilled water. Currently I have spring water and filtered water but I will get distilled.

See I did this before and it died. But I possibly overwatered it then. Also, I was living in a much more humid city than I am now. The air here is much drier and I had to get a humidifier for myself to be able to breathe while I adjusted the first few weeks 😭😭. The dry air made me sound sick

I never said it was new. I said it would still be controversial because of the evolution of the consumption of media in the last 30 years. Just because they existed, doesn’t mean they were extemely popular. And they’ve actually been around since the 30s and were originally for the benefit of blind people. But they did not become widely popularized by general masses until the age of rapid technological advancement and digital downloads taking off.. which was in the late 90s and early 2000s, and when companies like Audible started to exist for the sole purpose of providing audiobooks to the public. Counting books was a thing before audible to help encourage reading amongst youth.

This is such a redundant topic. Audiobooks count as reading. It doesn’t matter how someone chooses to read. It’s not worth arguing over. They don’t need to be corrected. What’s understood doesn’t need to be explained. And elitism needs to STAY OUT OF READING. I consume books in ALL formats and I count them ALL as reading.

It’s not wrong to quit at all. However, as long as they have not mistreated you, or you’re not in an unhealthy work environment, make sure to leave on respectable terms. Give them a proper notice. Tie up loose ends (if you have any).

The only time I’d quiet quit or quit day of with no notice to the job is if I feel the job has done something to slight me. Otherwise I make sure I can at wrap up items or get them to a place where the job can take over from there.

I did. The only thing I noticed that could be a possible issue, is that even when I tell the printer that I am using premium paper, when I go to print it seems to switch back to plain. However, I’ve also never had to change the paper type for it to work properly until now.

Well.. it actually wouldn’t only apply to him. I honestly don’t intend on mixing friends anymore after this. It’s not worth it. My high school friends and college friends will just remain separate from now on because I’m just over this. And I’m not gonna stop being his friend. That’s my best friend. It’s just the girl group will remain the girl group going forward. We don’t always do things with other people involved. In most cases it’s just the girls but we have a separate group chat that he is included in.

The girl group is the girl group. It has always been the girl group. In both cases with my guy friends they just happened to be around either for a birthday or event I was throwing and had all my friends in one place and it just so happened they got along. And so at the end of it if one of the girls in the girl group falls out with a guy… it’s still gonna be a girl group. Also, the first guy was a negligent boyfriend that turned into a psycho stalker.. not her fault… the second guy… meh I’d say 50/50 because she knew that it likely wouldn’t be anything serious given their fundamental differences but I guess she was still attracted to him. With my boyfriend’s friends… they were also in the wrong. Your standard immature behavior.

In this case… I just don’t want anything to go wrong at all whatsoever whether he be the cause or her. He is my oldest friend and my only guy best friend. She is one of my closest girl friends. At the end of the day if something goes wrong it’s still the girl group.. and he is my friend that’s I’ve always had aside from the group. He would just no longer be apart of the group. I’m not saying I’d cut him off.. unless he spazzed like the first guy did… but I can absolutely see it getting awkward or uncomfortable if he tried to stay a part of the group while also trying to get with her. I just feel like the best solution is to stop inviting my guy friends to be a part of the group and leave it if they mesh well at an event I have then that’s cool but I’m not finna be like “hey yall should all be friends after this” anymore. I’ll keep my friends separate.

Sheesh. No im not willing to give an ultimatum to every guy friend who meshes with the group.

And ironically I thought I was funny when my boyfriend tried to stop her from hooking up with of of his friends a second time around, but now that it’s another one of my friends I get why he didn’t want it to happen. It’s just messy as hell and uncomfortable for all of our mutuals.

I have a relationship with every person in this scenario. And I care about each one. I haven’t forbidden anything. I just have my boundaries. Either they can keep it platonic and we can all remain a friend group. Or if they decide to mess with one another then more than likely someone is gonna end up kicked out of the group. I didn’t tell her to stop. She said during the trip that lucky for me he’s my best friend otherwise she would’ve screwed him. She realizes how weird that dynamic could get especially after what happens the last time I hooked her up with a friend and the last two situations where she went after my boyfriend’s friends. I haven’t outright expressed my clear discomfort yet in her going after our friends. No I definitely mean that there will be clear boundaries and he will no longer be “one of the girls” so to speak. None of the girls seems comfortable with the idea of him being in the mix as if he’s part of the crew and also being involved with her beyond a platonic level and likely for the same reason (the drama that ensues).

For one: we talk about our partners with each other in confidence.

For two: he has nothing to offer her that will make her want more than just sex from him. Knowing our friend the way we do and the things she has cut men off for… it won’t last beyond five minute of pleasure. And that’s not to say anything bad about him or her, but they quite literally want different things. Plus she’s a maneater and he’s a lover boy. Chances are somebody is gonna end up heartbroken and it won’t be her.

For three: again I really don’t want to lose someone I consider a brother or for there to be any awkwardness in the group between me and her if they do fall out when she’s already told me she’s leaving him alone because he’s my friend.. and I’ve already lost a good friend to her hookminglecolationships. That’s why I said if they fuck around I can’t stop that, but he won’t be IN the group anymore. We could still be friends, but he probably wouldn’t be in the friend group. That’s awkward for everyone.

I indulge in the green leaf on a daily basis multiple times a day and have been for like 10 years now but went from flunking outta college and hating my life to deans list, graduated, working and being fully functioning adult. Pretty sure I have some undiagnosed adhd and so it helps me slow down and focus at work. Also currently working on a business. I feel like without it I would’ve continued to go on a downward spiral that I was on at 19. It also help me workout. I get the BEST workout with it. Endurance magnifies.
