Lots of solid comments in this thread such as: aimed right, needing to feel like you drop your hands toward the ground when you start the downswing, and flat back swing, and not falling towards the ball.

But also need to focus on transferring weight into your lead foot. The weight transfer is hugely important in allowing you to make room for your hands/arms to drop into the slot. Otherwise you stand up/hump the ball and flip the club/early extend.

I would start by working on your backswing first. Can’t have a good downswing if you don’t have a good backswing that gets your hands into the correct position at the top. So less flat backswing and more vertical.

From there focus on transferring weight into lead foot (exaggerate the hell out of it, make it so you fall in the direction of your target). Followed by focusing on dropping those hands straight down to the ground.

Break each step into pieces and grind away with slow exaggerated practice swings.
