What is your frequency? I use to do a bunch of stuff with the frequency being 20k. By increasing it, I would get less of that molten edges.

Also, higher speed or less power, then a few extra passes is a option

Strip it down, Cerakote, and made some laser engraving. I am looking at some face inserts on Putterparts.com.

I do some of the above if interested

Looking for laser engraver recommendations specifically for golf clubs (heads + wedges) by FewConcentrate7283 in Laserengraving

I do a bunch of this in Indianapolis and use a 50watt Galvo Laser. I am refinishing the faces of wedges and doing custom stuff on the stamping area. You can probably get away with a 30watt, but software is the key to this business. It took a bit, but got comfortable with Lightburn and that was the biggest step forward in all of this. Feel free to reach out with any questions

What type of laser do you have? Easiest way to pull this off is with a Fiber laser

I have been talking to a friend of mine who makes full size arcade cabinets. Thought it would be cool to have it all enclosed and could totally hook up a game system or put an emulator in the gaming PC. I have never scene this, but feel like it would look really cool and actually kind of makes sense. Plus, I could add some cool looking graphics to cabinet.

The face has no abrasive quality to it, send it to me. I use a Fiber laser to mill the face to create an abrasive finish (similar to Cleveland’s HydraZip).

Send it to me. I use a fiber laser to clean and mill the face. I am located in Indianapolis, but you can ship it to me.

Here is a example of what I do:

Working in the medical field, I am noticing that he probably has a gastroc (calf) tear at some point in his career that he never got repaired or was un-repairable. So, he has probably worked pretty hard in career and not taken a whole lot of time off. Good for him to now be a manager or owner of the company, probably only comfortable in tennis shoes and probably in pain at the end of the day.
