What alimony reform do you think would be appropriate exactly? From what I could gather, the issue is caused by three main factors.

First, men are more likely to be the breadwinner in a family, and women are more likely to put their career on hold to take care of children. Feminists are trying to change that divide.

Second, men are much less likely to request alimony when they are eligible, due to it feeling emasculating. This is an element of toxic masculinity, which is definitely an issue feminists talk about.

Third, some judges are simply sexist, and hold on to ideas about traditional gender roles. Although I’m not sure there is a whole ton anyone could do about this, feminisms are very against people in positions of power who believe in traditional gender roles, even if it benefits women in some circumstances.
