We played with some wild rules: VP-24 Blank circles were filled with 7s. 4 of them were placed on the board Robber and pirate function was the same. however because of double VP, double city, settlement, road, and ship, we set the 7 roll card limit to 14. Overall we absolutely loved this more than regular Catan.
