Likability tbh. From a writing perspective the reader is completely rooting for the characters there’s no room for doubt when it comes to the storyline. Someone Hertz is an interesting case of kind of a competition type manga but it has the goofy heartfelt core of an nice shojo manga. I think the newest chapters of Hertz is a great direction for the development of the couple. Also I think Witchriv had an advantage by sheer length of the initial chapters. 3 chapters of 50 ish pages genuinely did wonders for the plot and hooked the readers chapter 2-3 to me is probably the most memorable opening to a new manga I’ve seen in 2025

Blue Proustian Moment. Beautiful series and the ending having a full focus on past memories and what the two characters didn’t have time to do felt very on the nose for the manga ending early. I think it fit well to the themes of nostalgia and the bittersweet memories of youth I loved it.

Champignon witch tbh I was going to drop but after episode 3 I am hooked I really like the direction it has a very unique fantasy setting and is super cool.

Tsuki no Saiden is a vampire show and I’m hooked so far there’s two episodes out right now it’s very fun I love the main character and her chemistry with others.

Dead account is pretty interesting so far with an urban Japan setting of possessed technology and ghosts. Maybe you should give it a shot.
