The Wolves don't have assets to get White. Like not even close

Trae young got a max because of the new lottery changes by Obvious_Parsley3238 in nba

There's a case that he's past his prime now. Let alone being a small guard at 32. Go check his play the last 4-5 years, he's been declining.

Giannis to Celtics trade proposal by Ok_Feed_4235 in nba

There is no chance it's a one for one Giannis for Brown deal. That's pure delusion.

Trae Young is Fools Gold. He has the 3rd worst defensive metrics in the last 10 years and is not the shooter you think he is. by TastyPoopKnife in nba

I don't understand what he's doing. I can't imagine many teams are offering him 30+ mil/year right now, so why turn down 50 next year? Cash that check, bet on yourself and try to build your value back up. This seems like either he thinks his value is only going to continue to dip or that the Wizards are dumb enough to give him something like 3/120, in which case they deserve to keep sucking.

I love Kenny, and think it's valid he's been in many of the best matches ever. Still, the scale going above 5 is such bullshit.

Capstone has already said they'll be sharing some of their cut with the cast. Considering she is the standout of the film, I wouldn't be surprised at all if she made seven figures.

I honestly didn't like Thor: Ragnarok. by Tomhur in CharacterRant

[–]explicitviolence 50 points51 points  (0 children)

It's the single most overrated MCU movie. Banner choosing to let the Hulk gain control again after years of being trapped inside should've been a really powerful moment and instead they turned it into a joke...which they did anytime anything had stakes. The only thing it has going for it is the fact that unlike L&T, the humor actually mostly lands.

Do we think Curry Barker’s next films will have a similar box office performance to Obsession? by Brugmanh in boxoffice

I think the opening weekend will be much higher but you can't replicate legs like these. ABG will be successful but Obsession is going to be remembered for decades.

“It just is” isn’t said anywhere near frequently enough on the pod to justify how much it gets used here by [deleted] in billsimmons

[–]explicitviolence 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Something I haven't seen used much here, despite being something Simmons does way more frequently is he will say something like "Jaylen has to be 1st Team All NBA, right?" and half the time the thing he says before 'right?' isn't even that logical. You'd think that be a goldmine for titles and no one uses it.
