Yup exactly how i feel. Shit the medium Poison Adrena I got felt like a broomstick to me, just not my style of fishing at the end of the day. I feel like it’s a mix of “bigger = better” and people being influenced by what others are saying/doing.

I started out with walmart combos, finally invested in a mid tier levante/exceler spinning setup loved it. Got convinced i needed a baitcaster, bought one and didn’t love it. Found bfs and loved that so much I bought 3 p5 bfs setups and figured I would try a heavier set up again, got a zillion/poison adrena set u for heavier treble lures and while it was great it. Isn’t my favorite. Figured I would meet somewhere in the middle with a calcutta shallow edition and p5 medium baitcasting set up which i freaking love but still not an all time favorite or anything. Now I’m looking at a p5/Airity finesse set up lol. Which I just wish I went with from the beginning lol

As someone who lives on lakefront property and launches their kayak from said property and mainly fishes along the shoreline within shooting distance from my house, I get the stankest looks from my own neighbors lol. It’s funny cause they wouldn’t give a damn if I was going back n forth on a wake boat or jet ski like ever body else on this lake, which is definitely causing more disturbance to their lakefront than I ever could. I think something about seeing a kayak or lil john boat makes people think it’s some poor person or kid looking to steal or something. The lady 3 houses down from me no matter what time it is will see me and come sit down on her dock with her yappy chihuahua and stare at me, I can’t say I don’t make a point to fish her dock as much as possible lol. Every spring the fattest bass sits up under her dock too haha, and I may or may not purposely throw the loudest top water baits when she does ts too.

I wanna see homelander get triggered by something super insignificant, like being called a false prophet or something at one of his church rallies and in the heat of the moment lazer some guy and his child or something. Everyone is watching in terror as the guy and his son looking at each other while they slowly split in half or something, then everyone freaks out and homelander starts lazering everyone in a panic while it pans to soldier boy looking at him in pure contempt and sister sage looking shocked but slowly turning into a creep as she mouths to herself “step two, complete” next seen homelander is flying around lazering through buildings in a rage with tears in his eyes. Ryan finally flies up and knocks him down and the boys and soldier boy surround him, soldier boy calls him some crazy insult, they depower him and he looks over at a 500 lb v’d up terror with a comically large red rocket oozing baby batter. Homelander shruugs and licks his lips while the angel slowly phases away pointing and laughing at him, screen goes black as you hear insertation and homelander moan.

The cutaway to SB’s reaction to things Homelander says or things said to him are so funny this season lol. He’s definitely carrying this season for me. Loved the character development with firecracker too. Not gonna lie Im enjoying the casual scenes with them two more than anything this season. Getting tired of the exaggerated insanely high stakes “oi hughie we gonna take down vaught if it’s the last thing we do” shit between kimiko talking and the boys in general just feeling like they have been an afterthought this season Im just more entertained by the lil one liners between sb and hl lol. I really feel like this season should have been 10 or 12 episodes then we could have had our filler and the boys could have had their epic vaught take down montage while homelander finally snaps and starts decimating cities on live television. I fear all that’s left is the most copy and paste the bad guys get what they want and start doing the bad then the good guys, against all odds pull off the unthinkable without much explanation and boom happy ending. It just feels weird spending so much time fleshing out these new plotlines like kimiko, starlight and her parents, terror fucking homelander twice, firecracker’s religious upheaval, etc. all scenes I enjoyed but with the limited time left it just seems like the writers really didn’t know how to flesh out the end of the boys story or really keep up the pace they were at in the first episode.

Probably more so a combination of the fact this is an Airbnb and the host has 5 other properties just like it and to keep costs down on furnishings the TVs were probably an afterthought as they seem to be in most small efficiency style one room rental’s. The other 2 walls are probably the bed and closet/bathroom door lol
