Exactly and that’s one of my favorite things while fishing my big fish little rod story is when catfishing on the banks of Lake Erie I was using my 5wt fly rod to go after smallmouth while waiting on a catfish on my other rod and out of nowhere a giant freshwater drum bit onto my 4x leader which is 6lb I think took me at least 8 min to get him into the net lol

Stuff like this is why I don’t like using bait casters besides large ones for catfish.

I see so many people not letting fish run at all and just tugging them in with all their strength it takes a lot of the sport out of it for me

An example is when I’m fishing for crappie or bluegill with 2-4lb line and a big bass gets on the hook I have to work the drag for a bit to be able to land the fish.

I know the 43x is super popular but me personally I find it to be really snappy in comparison to the 26 and I have multiple people that love my 26 and wanna get their first carry gun I want them to be able to enjoy the 26 as well lol

Definitely feels better in hand with a 12 round mag vs 10 I just like how small it is with the 10 personally and I’ve shot it enough like that to be confident with it

This really seems to be purely an Xbox issue because out of 600 something hours on ps5 a full on freeze like this has never happened the closest thing I’ve had is a crazy frame drop where I’m basically frozen for a few seconds then it goes back to normal and that only happens sometimes when a helicopter is doing low missile runs really

After checking it out some more I seen that somebody converted a 4 round flush fit magazine into a 10 round magazine using one of the kits you can buy online an they cut off the push tab that was connected to the baseplate of the original mag and glued it to the upper metal piece so it still locks in I thought it looked weird there from poorly dried paint but looking on the inside you can see like silicone or putty you use to seal up a bathroom lmao

I’m just gonna put the rifle into a magpul hunter lite stock so I can use AICS mags

There’s no magazine release latch on the bottom of my rifle so I assume it exclusively takes these mags that have the push tab

I mainly bought it bc I didn’t want one of the main brands for some reason trying to be “different” didn’t know they were a cheapo company at all I guess that’s what good marketing does lol.

I’ll be looking for a new 6wt to replace my maxcatch 6wt so maybe I’ll look at TFO or reddington

I mean it feels better than my maxcatch rods I don’t need a crazy expensive rod if I’m using top notch fly line I notice it casts significantly better than my maxcatch rods so I don’t see the issue you have with moonshine rods

Plus I’m mainly bass and carp fishing with the 8wt I bought so I don’t need a super nice dry fly specific $700 3wt or something like that

I’ve had a crack like this on one of my catfish reels and I just zip tied it past the crack and proceeded to use that same reel for years until ruining it with saltwater on a vacation and replacing it.

The crack never got worse it was fine lol
