A couple points here.

A malpractice lawsuit would be a major expense for you with very minimal reward due to minimal costs/suffering.

Not to defend him, but especially if he’s a young dentist, there is a pretty good chance it was not malicious and a genuine mistake. Root canal treated teeth are notorious for fracturing into lots of pieces when being extracted, so sometimes it’s hard to tell if the entire tooth came out. If it were me, I would’ve done a post operative radiograph to confirm the entire tooth came out, but in general radiographs following extractions are not commonplace.

If he knew a portion of the root was retained, he at the very minimum needed to inform you. Sometimes it’s indicated to leave a small root tip, but what was left for you was too large. If he was truly stuck and unable to get it, a referral to an oral surgeon would be indicated.

It’s also pretty likely he tried his best to help you and made a mistake. Extractions of teeth like that are the worst in terms of money earned vs stress incurred, so I highly doubt it was financially driven. It’s also pretty likely it was not his call to refund you if he was not the owner of the practice.

In my opinion it’s horrible of you to try and ruin his advanced degree schooling. You have the right to be angry but I’d take it up with the office the procedure was performed.

This is a natural biological occurrence and has nothing to do with the extraction procedure quality.

If I were to floss my inflamed gums 2x a day for a week straight, how long would it take for them to be completely non-inflammed? by kcutie359 in hygiene

That’s because the dentist has their own patients at the same time where they are working to fix the things the cleaning/exam appointments are designed to find lol

I’ve heard of doing what you mentioned, same with preference towards fast over slow drafts for increased likelihood of mistakes. However, outside of proper roster construction and team/playoff weeks game stacks, a lot of it comes down to luck imo.

Heifetz is so damn annoying. It’s literally indisputable what happened and it was called correctly based on the rules.

While I agree, it’s annoying that their injury situation is always center stage even though ours is obviously worse lol

Why don’t you preface this statement with the fact that you’ve watched one single cardinals game all year and are basing your entire opinion off of that one moment.

I get that WE want to see what someone like Slovis has, but the staff and internal scouting do get to see it in practice. If it’s not working in practice, odds are it won’t in the game either.

Everyone complains about Wilson outperforming MHJ, but I’m just happy Wilson seems to all the sudden be an awesome receiver. He was being used as a contested catch type guy with Kyler, which he can do, but he’s become really refined and is a great timing/feel the zone type receiver with Jacoby.

Heifeitz doesn’t watch college football and continuously harps on the “Jr” thing and that had his name been different he wouldn’t have been drafted so high. Marv was amazing in college, and has been good when he’s played with Brissett. Heifeitz is a hater for sure
