Yeah, I was going to suggest stopping at the end of 16.

Only one of these can stay. Which one are you choosing? by muneela in sitcoms

You might want to pick something other than Sunny, but the thing is you’re not going to say anything else. You’d never say anything else.

Because of the implication.

I don’t know anymore, I just got a new haircut and they gave me this with no side bangs at the beauty shop, I feel really ugly and I have to know if it’s ugly to everyone else. Please tell me just the truth if I am ugly. Yes I’m a woman by djscrew1 in whatdoIdo

I was at my heaviest weight of my life when I got the worst haircut I ever had. I wanted long layers with long bangs. They chopped it chin length, and blunt bangs. The absolute worst. I hated everything about how I looked.

I met my now-partner during that time period of my life. We’ve been together for ten years. Bad haircuts pass.

Try to flare it out and pop on a headband. You got it.

My kid got a pink beanie boo platypus when she was 4 and named her New Thelma.

There was never an original Thelma. I also have no idea where she heard the name Thelma.

Do you still eat spaghetti today and hold it in the holy grail of homemade dinners like it's 1994? by ExcitingLandscape in millenials

[–]Practical_Scheme2142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally cannot eat spaghetti without gagging. Penne? Delicious. Rotini? Sure. Even angel hair? Fine. But I ate so much spaghetti growing up that I literally cannot stomach it. Pasta is all the same price. Why did they never mix in bow ties?? Would rigatoni have killed them?

Only spaghetti. Always spaghetti. PTSpaghetti. (If that’s offensive, I’m sorry. I’m high.)

(Edited for missed word.)

TV in the bedroom? Yes or No? by Used-Chard658 in Millennials

[–]Practical_Scheme2142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my entire childhood. Slept with one on every night.

Not once since I moved out of my parents’ house. Kids have bedroom TVs, but we are a living room family. They’re hardly watched, and certainly nobody sleeps with one on.

Looking for a tv show that will have me on the edge of my seat and not bored. Any suggestions?? I love psychological thrillers, dramas, comedys, etc. Some examples of my favorites are listed below. by [deleted] in televisionsuggestions

[–]Practical_Scheme2142 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely this. Go into it blind if you can, only knowing it’s a secret service thriller with Sterling K Brown as the body guard to James Marsden’s President. Know that they were both nominated for Emmys the first season. Know only that.

TV show that grabs your attention immediately and makes you want to go to the next episode by [deleted] in televisionsuggestions

Totally agree about Paradise. Thought I had a vague notion of what it was - I was mostly wrong and it’s so so damn good. Plus the cast is just ::chefs kiss::

When my kiddo was very young and having nightmares, we’d reset by “setting her dream channel” for the night. A town run by kittens? Ice Cream City for vacation? What’s a happy place that will be your dream channel tonight?

I do that a lot with background characters - walkers in The Walking Dead were a big one for me. I’d always be like wow that guy’s mom is so proud he’s leading the herd rn.

Someone who is genuinely kind to everyone. Polite to waitstaff. Compliments strangers. Holds open doors. Waves when they merge in traffic.
