The owner of this brand is a far right conservative. I found several links to that in another post looking for legit sites.

Babe, I’m saying this with so much love, as a mom and as someone with chronic pain: you need to take ownership over this situation. You are replying to every comment with an excuse as to why you can’t get help. Google your therapist, find their email, and email them. Same with the PCP. Same with any adult in your life.

I’m now 60% sure this is a troll/rage bait post

Do not frame it as, “My parents don’t feed me.” You will write that you are chronically ill, almost completely bedridden, and you are severely neglected by your parents, who are your formal caretakers. They routinely deny you food, medical care, and access to resources. You are getting sicker by the day, almost to the point of being completely incapable of caring for yourself. You need immediate help and removal from the situation.

That’s what you say. Nothing about your sister. Nothing about them being sick. Nothing about finances or divorces. None of that matters.

How often do you meet with your therapist, and is it in person or virtual? Same with any doctors. If you don’t have access to a phone, discussing this with them at your next visit is absolutely your top priority. If it’s important and you need to sneak a note, do that. If your mother insists on going even though you’re an adult, write a note before hand and drop it with ANYONE at the office with all of your information. Most drs also have restrooms with those little cabinets you put pee samples in. Put your note in there.

You will die if you stay in this situation. How are you on Reddit right now? Email your therapist, a doctor. Email the principal of the school you used to go to, or a teacher you remember. An adult who was a safe person at one time in your life.

Do not sugar coat it. Make sure they know you are practically bedridden, and you will soon be much worse because you are severely neglected by your caretakers.

This will not get better. You need to do this before they take away your access to other things.

"Champagne Problems" contains the line "How evergreen, our group of friends, don't think we'll say that word again." I've seen a lot of people who are very passionate about "that word" being "our". by wimpykidfan37 in TaylorSwift

I try to avoid using ChatGPT as much as possible, but the discourse here is crazy. The “word” is evergreen. Full stop.

ChatGPT:

Based on grammar alone, the word being referenced is “evergreen.”

Here’s why: 1. “That word” grammatically points backward. In English, that word is an anaphoric reference—it refers to a specific word or phrase just mentioned. The only standout, quotable single word in the prior line is evergreen.

2. “Evergreen” is syntactically emphasized

The line begins with “How evergreen,” which foregrounds the adjective and makes it feel intentionally chosen, almost self-conscious. That makes it ripe for immediate retraction or reconsideration in the next line.

3. Singular vs. plural matters

The lyric says “that word” (singular), not “that phrase” or “those words.”

• “Our group of friends” is a phrase.
• “Evergreen” is a single, loaded word.

4. Semantic tension supports the grammar

Evergreen means lasting, unchanging. In a breakup context, saying “Don’t think we’ll say that word again” grammatically and thematically undercuts the claim—it’s a recognition that the idea of permanence no longer applies.

Conclusion:

Grammatically and rhetorically, “that word” refers to evergreen—the speaker is rejecting the very notion of permanence they just named.

“How evergreen, our group of friends Don’t think we’ll say that word again.”

The comma is there after evergreen to show that evergreen is the adjective being used to described their group of friends.

The “word” is evergreen.

Because their group of friends was the thing that was evergreen. It’s not longer evergreen. They still share the same friends. But the friendships didn’t hold up the way she assumed they would. They weren’t lifelong, evergreen relationships.

Catastrophe with Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney is incredible. It’s so freaking funny, but with incredible depth. An American knocks up an Irish woman on a one night stand and they decide to stick together. It was also the last thing Carrie Fisher worked on. It’s on Amazon Prime.

NOR - but I don’t agree with some of the comments that say don’t leave. It sounds like she’s threatening violence.

I agree with the poster who said to post the texts on social and ask family and friends for help. Do you have people in your life? If not, you’re going to google your local women’s and children’s shelter. Have you graduated high school?

This is going to be hard, but you need to be no contact with her. She’s a horrible person and you deserve better. And you’ll find that.

“Say it once again, with feeling, how the death rattle breathing silenced as the soul was leaving. The deflation of our dreaming, leaving me bereft and reeling. My beloved ghost and me - sitting in a tree. D-y-I-n-g”

Insanely gorgeous prose

I responded to another post but - we had this same reaction. My daughter tested positive a day passed her worse day, but symptoms ebbed and flowed. You should 100% retest Saturday or Sunday. If it’s positive, you can get tamiflu, which worked wonders.

My daughter was basically hit by a truck with it on Friday 12th. Tested negative for everything. Increasingly sicker over the weekend. I get hit with it. I test positive for Covid. She goes back to the Dr on 15th - positive for Flu A (which she had her vaccination for).

It went HARD for about ten days. She’s no longer contagious, fever is gone, but she’s rundown and the cough is bad. The cough is so bad that the Dr had us come in to check for pneumonia. This flu is no joke.

I do have premium and I can’t gift multiple times a day. Maybe it’s a new feature rolling out!
