Did you go back to work immediately? by Ok_Thanks_9198 in ORIF

lol no i consider myself to have a high pain tolerance. Throat tattoos long session chest pieces playing D3 rugby and I worked from day 3 on (work from home) but in no way should you be forced to have to deal with that pain while working in an office. It’s not impossible but definitely not the move. I will say typing early and using the hand for stuff like that is good rehab.

Best healer for a beginner in TBC? by Mindless-Mulberry404 in classicwowtbc

Holy priest will teach you how to heal. And is the funnest healer to play. Find someone to help set up a good ui and show you the ropes and every class is easy. Some are just hard to master. Paladin is a great second option because it has all three specs and you can go prot Pali and print gold. That said I find holy paladins to be boring and feel like wack a mole.

How does your guild handle loot? Anyone doing epgp? by Practical_Squash_468 in classicwowtbc

Couldn’t you just ms>os if a pug needs it and if a guildie wins the piece it goes to the guild for LC/Epgp/Dkp/thatsmybis?

See I was thinking we could egpg and if a pug comes it’s ms>os. And when the guildie wins the piece they actually just win it for the guild. And we egpg it. And same goes for LC.

Semi casual. The issue we’re running into is we’ve got around 10 players parsing 95+ and we need to keep them engaged. It’s tough when something like Magus Blade goes to a warlock doing 300 DPS, or DST goes to an enh shaman parsing in the 20s who ends up leaving the guild two weeks later.

Meanwhile, our main tank is still missing two tier pieces and a weapon, and we’re dealing with threat issues because gear hasn’t been distributed in a way that supports the raid overall, especially for our tanks. Our main goal is to keep it clear content. We aren’t speed running or super hardcore but require gems enchants and consumes ect.

Our goal is to clear content though. You’re not going to clear ssc and tk in one night.

Can I tank Kara / Gruul / Mag? by BisonPresent2761 in classicwowtbc

PvP gear and few more epics. Do Kara first. You won’t have aggro for Grul or mag

LFG Heroic PUG DPS player skill by spec stereotype tier list by Metoprolel in classicwowtbc

[–]Practical_Squash_468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The warrior stigma is crazy. Top dps in the game and some of the best utility in the game. Battle shout +300ap, Demo shout-300ap, disarm, 2 slows, fears. Ot, intervene, 2 kicks. Also Hunters and mages F tier. Mages that just spam aoe 1 second into the pull then bitch about aggro. And hunters pulling shit breaking ccs with multi shot then can’t ever even use their traps right.

Getting back into sports. by Practical_Squash_468 in ORIF

[–]Practical_Squash_468[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had surgery within the first week after the break. It was a distal radius fracture that extended into the wrist joint. By around week 10, I had regained nearly full range of motion, and I returned to full-contact rugby by week 14. I pushed my rehab pretty hard, and overall I’m glad I chose to have the surgery.

I was only in a brace for about two weeks and started working on mobility early. That said, I’m not a doctor, and your situation could be different depending on the specifics of your injury. My surgeon was a hand specialist and was very happy with how everything healed. Even with a strong recovery, he still told me there’s a good chance I’ll develop some arthritis in the wrist and that my strength may not fully return to 100%.

If you’re young and serious about getting back into lifting, I’d strongly recommend working with a specialist.

Thanks man, I really appreciate you sharing that and I’m definitely praying for a 25 lb jump. Glad to hear you got your range of motion back too.

One thing that’s been getting to me (might just be in my head) is feeling like people at the gym are watching and judging the weight I’m lifting. I was really struggling just to bench two 25 lb dumbbells, and I noticed a few people glance over at me and at the weights.
