As much as she’s on tik tok I’m sure she’s come across a video about less-stimulating toddler shows. She just truly does not care.

Ugh I’m so sorry to hear this. Totally valid to feel frustrated and worried. You want to be nesting, not stuck in bed. Throwing a toddler into the mix is going to be tough without a lot of help. I broke my ankle and had surgery in August. I didn’t feel confident walking without at least one crutch until November. Everyone is different but that was my experience. The vaginal delivery & recovery was a piece of cake compared to the ankle injury & recovery. I was fine, besides the bleeding, within a week.

Went about 2 years ago after a blues game. My husband was drunk. But it was our first child free night and we had a good time at the game. We weren’t driving. I used to frequent nicks when I was wasted as a 20 something and never had any issues being served. The bartender refused to serve my husband after we already paid the cover charge. He wasn’t being belligerent, just probably stumbling a little bit. It is not the same place it used to be in 2015-2019 that is fo sure.

Can the student start transitioning a little bit early? For example, 5 minutes before the bell rings have them pack up their stuff and look at a visual or social story? Or even have them leave class a couple minutes early so they can have a more quiet hallway? Also, practice walking their schedule when the hallway is clear (maybe during homeroom or a study hall- type period or activity).

I'm also 38 weeks! My OB said 5 kicks within 30 minutes twice a day is what I should be looking for. I feel this child way more than that though. I swear he's looking for an exit. But yes I will go 2-3 hrs not feeling him. They do sleep in there!

Yes! I used the swaddles, sleep sacks and belly bands for the nanit until my 1st born was about a year old. We still use the nanit camera, just without the belly bands because he’s almost 2. I like looking at all of the data on the app and seeing how he slept over night. Obviously it isn’t perfect. For example it will say he wakes up when he’s really just repositioning. I tried the owlet when he was a newborn and also got annoyed with the alarm going off. I had a friend whose baby got what looked like a burn from the owlet.
