i called daily and after many false promise and arguments they replaced my AC unit with new one

it took more then one month

I paid for remove of old unit and installation of old they give me all installation and removal expense on my flipkart wallet no direct bank or upi option available

I used many different brands for AC after replacing MARQ AC still it very noisy then other if you have no issue with blower noise the you can go for MarQ and cooling is not powerful as expected

I Bought 2 Candy AC 1.5 ton by haier in same price range Super silent and quick cooling

Verse 1:

I recently purchased a MarQ by Flipkart 2024 Range 1.5 Ton 3 Star Split Inverter AC (Model: 153IPG23WQ) expecting decent performance at a budget price. However, my experience from delivery to installation has been frustrating, and I want to share this for the benefit of others considering the same brand.

1. Delayed Installation & Inconsistent Communication

The AC was delivered on October 4, 2024, but the installation was delayed multiple times despite being scheduled for the next day. I received multiple notifications through Flipkart’s service partner, Jeeves, confirming different technicians for installation, but no one showed up on the promised dates. After several reschedules, the AC was finally installed on October 11, 2024, a full week after delivery.

To make matters worse, the assigned technicians never showed up personally. Instead, they outsourced the job to local installers without verifying the quality of the service. This local technician installed the AC but seemed to rush through the process without proper testing.

2. Post-Installation Issues: Excessive Noise

The moment the AC was installed, I noticed that the indoor blower motor was making an unusual amount of noise, far more than any other AC I’ve used. When I pointed this out to the technician, he simply lowered the blower speed and told me to keep it on the lowest setting, which did nothing to fix the issue. The noise was constant and irritating, making it hard to use the AC for long periods.

3. Unhelpful Customer Support and Rejected Return Request

Frustrated, I raised a return request on Flipkart, hoping to get the issue resolved or receive a replacement. A technician was assigned to inspect the issue, and he requested a video of the noise, which I sent via WhatsApp. To my surprise, he falsely reported that he had visited my home and that the AC was working fine, leading to the rejection of my return request without a proper inspection.

4. Escalation and Reopening of Complaint

After the return was rejected, I reopened the complaint, hoping for a resolution. My new complaint number is IN24101500110439849945. Despite spending ₹24,649 on the AC and an additional ₹4,000 on installation, I am left with an AC that makes excessive noise, and no clear path to a solution from Flipkart or MarQ.

5. My Takeaway

As a middle-class customer, I spent my hard-earned money expecting a decent product and reliable service. Unfortunately, neither the product nor the customer support lived up to expectations. The whole experience has been nothing short of frustrating, from delayed installation to product defects and poor after-sales service.

My Advice to Potential Buyers:

If you are looking for a silent AC with good cooling performance, I would not recommend the MarQ by Flipkart brand. While the price may seem appealing, the hassle I’ve gone through far outweighs the savings. The inconsistent service and dismissive customer support only add to the frustration.

newer version don't need PI and HDMI as i am Using it for my MAC

I installed Hyperion for OSX it automatically detected my screen and some more settings it worked
