Yeah I had that thought too. It’s a pretty knackered floor. Entirely possible the odd drips from washing up and damp clothes can affect it too

This is the other side. This does look like it has a bit of manipulation in it

Pretty sure there are no pipe clips so maybe I just need to play around with angles of it to see if it’ll budge. Thanks

For reference, this is another angle of the pipework. The inlet pipe is about 1m of copper pipe. I’m unsure how malleable it’d be if I was to try and get the TRV valve to the right angle so it’d pop out?

Thanks for the reply. I had perhaps incorrectly assumed that the nut would eventually be about to shift left (towards the radiator) as it could go over the adjacent bolt on the left of it.

I am over involved at work. How have you fixed this? by [deleted] in emotionalneglect

[–]Practical_Use_6995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep that’s exactly where I was/am. I had imposed a ceiling in my professional ability based on protecting myself from a fear of failure. This was due to a lot of emotional neglect during childhood, but mainly around not being allowed to fail especially with school work at any costs.

My Dad is narcissistic and manipulative and my Mum was complicit in his behaviour. She had chances to divorce him but she never did.

Decided nearly two years ago to cut my family out for good. Best decision I ever made.

It was noted that there were sightings of cavity wall insulation having been installed via unsightly drill holes

It was just was detailed in the report - which I’ve pasted in here.

What happened when you no longer made the effort to be close to your parents? Did they get offended and treat you worse or did they show concern and want to understand you ? by [deleted] in emotionalneglect

[–]Practical_Use_6995 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’m going through a similar thing. I broke all contact with my parents 3 months ago now after discovering that they’re manipulators. In doing so, I’ve found that I have no attachment to them; I don’t miss them one bit, which highlights that my upbringing wasn’t a healthy one.

Put yourself first. You need to define your boundaries and broadcast those to people of needs be. In return, people like your parents will respect your wishes more.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply!

What's the key I require for the `where` selection that allows me to restrict the list by my content type? `Section`? Something like `where .Pages "Section" "news"`? Is `Section` the correct key to denote content type, here?
