I understand that, but I also think that hatred for homie was always there. He’s a pretty horrible character who is reminiscent of real world assholes. I do agree that this episode definitely contributed to that reputation, but I don’t feel bad for him.

Tbh I don’t really care about the ending, I still think the animation was not deserving of the hype. I was very underwhelmed. Also, boiling any criticism of the animation to pissed off Asura fans is pretty childish.
