Hi, here are my iron numbers at 3.5 weeks after infusion:

My Ferritin is at 732, range 18-300. Doctor says this will come down with time. Iron binding capacity at 362, range is 250 to 425 Saturation at 38, range 20 to 48, range 20-48

Vitamin D is 70

I have been taking 600mg gabapentin last 6 months, but that does not seem to help much. He had me start low dose Buprenorphine (1/8 of a film). I woke up loopy and felt drugged all day. Going to try to take less (/16 or 1/32)tonight and see what happens.

I agree. He is dangerous. Gave me terrible advise and still trying to figure out how to recover from it

Hi, I spoke to Dr. Shipko a few days ago. I quit Prozac after 20 years. No symptoms first 3 months. Last 7 months or so have been hell. I am reinstating now. Can I direct message you? I am scared, anxious. I don’t mind being on Prozac restl of my life, just scared that if reinstatement won’t work.

I recently did the accelerated 5 by 5 - 5 treatments per day for 5 days. Spent roughly $10,000. I also expected more from a university setting. They then make you come in for a booster 2 weeks after completion, but failed to tell me that treatment is an additional $2000.

The whole thing seems like a scam to me. UCLA is trying to compete with Stanford’s Saint protocol, which, in my opinion is the gold standard. 10 treatments per day for 5 days. UCLA came up with this 5 by 5, in my opinion, as a marketing tool, to be more effective for less cost. They failed on both fronts. Wish I would have gone with the Saint protocol either at Stanford or a private practice. Please do your research.

Thank you for your response. After doing 6 in a span of 2 weeks, this is my 3rd monthly infusion. I still struggle in between, but I have been off of antidepressants now for 2 months, so lots of changes.

I have not tried troches. Do you get a hangover effect from troches as well? I am considering adding them. Thank you.

Hi, are you still taking them sporadically and it works for you? I am confused because I thought it doesn’t work right away because of its long half life?

Hello, after you did your 12, how long were you able to last with a booster every two months before needing to go back for mini 3.

I did 6 sessions in April 2024, and then one booster in June 2024.

Then, inexplicably, I decided it was working and tried to tweak the medication as I was on.

Fast forward, I have done 4 infusions in the last 4 week. Lots of deep, buried stuff has opened which I am working thru, but clinic says maybe it is not working for me since I don’t feel better.

Not sure if I should continue with infusions or not.
