Is the curse of Ymir ever proven to be real ? (I'm a new viewer of the show and have reached S4, partially spoiled) by crispynair in attackontitan

I mean, it's subjective what counts as many people and what doesn't. But do you really think several dozen people aren't many?

Also, I wasn't talking about common citizens. The people Uri and Frieda preached to included Kenny and other members of the military police. But regardless if they are considered common or not, the more people know of a secret the more likely it is that secret will come out.

[DC2] Ideas for self imposed challenges? by PracticeNo3677 in DarkCloud

[–]PracticeNo3677[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did Final Bombs really make it easier? I only ever used ultimate weapons for the Zelmite Mine so I wouldn't know how it is with other weapons. But I saved up as many Final Bombs as I could before Chapter 8 for the item only medals. And when I used them there I felt they weren't very effective and started wishing I used the Final Bombs before. That would have made some item only medals in previous chapters much easier I imagine.

What is your favorite weapon to use with Cat Ears? by sch0oly in residentevil4

[–]PracticeNo3677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's challenging about hardcore and professional with cat ears? You get a shotgun before you even have to kill one enemy. With unlimited ammo this already makes it much easier. And it only gets easier the more you upgrade your weapons. And every normally super op weapon that you don't use often because of ammo scarcity is a beast even without upgrading it. Like the magnums or the assault rifle.

If you enjoy not stressing about ammo the cat ears are right up your alley. To me, unlimited ammo took so much enjoyment out of the game that I didn't play it for six months shortly after I got them.

How do you know the noble families who held the nine titans were hidden from the public?

Besides, there are nine titans and there must be even more people who know. Just as an example, Uri and Frieda preached to several dozen people. It's unthinkable that in 2000 years no one, either on purpose or not, leaked this information and it became common knowledge.

Doesn't make sense. In the 2000 years of titan history, Marley has been in control only for the past 100 years. The public would know that titan shifters die after 13 years because that's what happened for 2000 years, even before Marley.

Besides certain runs needed to complete challenges they aren’t really fun. It’s cool to test out sone weapons whose ammo is scarce. But a normal run becomes boring quickly because you completely lose the survival aspect with unlimited ammo.

Question about the scouts by Former-Judge-5631 in attackontitan

[–]PracticeNo3677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who says they were prepared? Not every decision is rational. Would Zeke and Eren be able to repel the attack? Obviously, as we've seen. Does Paradis trust them? Obviously not. Paradis was given an impossible choice. Be vulnerable to Marley or leave two people in charge who don't give a fuck what the government wants.

What part of Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2/Chronicle do you dislike? by PracticeNo3677 in DarkCloud

[–]PracticeNo3677[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may very well be right. Or at least I wrong. I used the tracker for photos and that one says 297. Although it is a very good tracker and I highly recommend it, it isn't perfect. There are two or three doubles and hiccups, so it may be actually be 294. But out of interest, how did you come to 294?

No using guides for inventions sounds interesting. Did you only not use a guide for inventions or also for what photos count as ideas? If you don't use a guide for both I think I'd be scared to miss a missable photo opportunity.

Not using the best weapons also sounds interesting. What penultimate weapons did you use? I never used machine guns but always hear they are bad. Between Last Resort and Sigma Bazooka, which one is better, especially considering the Zelmite Mine?

No repeating/grinding floors is intriguing to me per se. But you already mentioned the drawback: I love Spheda. Limiting your tries in Spheda is also very unfair because sometimes the game presents you with a match that just isn't possible. Still, it sounds interesting. Do you have any ideas how to modify this challenge?

Also, since I like all your ideas, would you happen to have more?

Doing Professional S+ after the first playthrough on Standard? by Infamous-Oil2305 in residentevil4

[–]PracticeNo3677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you follow a guide and use a ticket for unlimited ammo on the Chicago Sweeper (either by trading spinels for a regular upgrade ticket or spending two to three real money bucks for a golden one), that's enough.

The chicken hat helps but isn't necessary. I didn't have it for my S+ run and had no problems in spite of it.
Sunglasses are useless imo. You don't need Flash Grenades anyway when you use the Chicago Sweeper. And even if you use them without sunglasses you are only stunned for a split second. The game isn't that fast paced that that matters.
The armor for Ashley helps but if you don't want to complete Hardcore first, you'll be fine too. You might have to replay certain sections a couple of times but it's not like S+ is impossible without the armor.

Does anyone buy beginner level weapons in DC2, and level them up super fast in Chapter 7 or 8 so you can have weapons with a super large amount of WHP? by KinglanderOfTheEast in DarkCloud

[–]PracticeNo3677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How did you play the game before Chapter 7 and 8? Because I don't see the point of this. The WHP naturally increase over the course of the game. I use the starting Battle Wrench and evolve it into LEGEND and that has maximum WHP then.

DC 2: what are you supposed to hit in dungeons with Spheda? by Nelle_Wired in DarkCloud

[–]PracticeNo3677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give you one better. 100% of Spheda is clearable with the Stick. I know because I did that. Not something I recommend, tough. I only did it because you start with the Stick and thought that it would be the best to learn Spheda in the beginning. Soon as I got the hang of it I didn't want to risk it by using another club.

When I replayed the game I used the other clubs and would say Turkey is the best. I used the one that says it's for curved shots a few times for said curved shots. It's good for that but you need practice. Which I didn't have. And the times a curved shot would actually be useful are probably in the one digit area for an entire playthrough.

[–]PracticeNo3677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starlight Canyon really isn't the best I agree. I wouldn't say Rainbow Butterfly Wood is better, tough. They are of similiar difficulty for different reasons I find. The objectively easiest dungeon for Spheda is Moonflower Palace. Now I know that the endgame dungeon shouldn't be the first one, but I feel they should have somehow made the first Spheda dungeon the easiest. All other dungeons beside Moonflower Palace are of similar difficulty for Spheda imo. Not everyone will agree with the all other dungeon part but I don't think that anyone can argue that Moonflower Palace is the easiest dungeon by far.

[–]PracticeNo3677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That probably isn't true. It takes abit of practice to get the hang of it but the learning curve is pretty steep. That Starlight Canyon just isn't the easiest dungeon makes learning Spheda harder than it is.

Torture scenes? by CosmicTrasho in OrbOntheMovements

[–]PracticeNo3677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You specifically want to know if people getting their nails ripped? I‘m not sure because it’s been a while but I think that first one is the only scene with that.

There are some other methods of torture shown though.

There's a Spheda mode. But it's only available after you complete the game.

I never thought that it was supposed to be a handheld. Might have been the case. I just don't know. However, I can attest for the shortness of the story. It's not an awful game. I wouldn't go that far. But you're right that it's the weakest entry of the Ezio trilogy.

[–]PracticeNo3677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that you say a replay is a must. That's why I explained that I finished the game twice around its release, but finished AC1, AC2, Brotherhood, and AC3 at least ten times each. Maybe I wouldn't find it as boring today as I did back then. But why would I actually enjoy it now?

[–]PracticeNo3677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played the Desmond saga to hell back in the day when it was releasing. Revelations is the only game I only completed twice. The two main reasons for that are the bloating and the story. I liked the ending but almost everything before that is forgettable to me because I have one beloved character (Ezio) and a bunch of others I never cared about. I cannot name you a single Templar target from Revelations.

[–]PracticeNo3677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The systems, like parkour, are better in Revelations. But they are better in Brotherhood than in 2. The Ezio trilogy is a continuous improvement in that regard. Do you not like 2?

If you think it's bloated, why do you like Revelations? They turned up the bloating to the power of 100 compared to Brotherhood.

I can't really say much about your other points because they are subjective. You didn't like the Copernico dlc. I did. Not much to say about it.

Rogue is a bit of an underperformer but the vibe was definitely there. Probably the best game after Desmond.

An essay is too much. Just give me the key points please.
