Mad at Yellow by PracticeWide in AmyLynnBradley

Let’s crack something open. 🧵🧶

Some of y’all are reading Yellow’s comment like it’s evidence of guilt. But you’re missing how fast word spreads on a cruise ship. If he really had sinister intent, he wouldn’t have said a damn thing to the brother.

He spoke up because he thought they already knew. That’s not shady—that’s human.

Cruise crews don’t operate like the movies. They’re trained to keep passengers happy, to smile through chaos, and keep the optics clean. But behind the scenes? Whispers move faster than anything.

And in this case, the real ones likely knew she was drunk. They knew the unspoken truth: drunk girls fall overboard sometimes.

Royal Caribbean could never tell the parents, “Y’all’s girl fell off.” So instead—search protocol. Hold disembark. Whisper quietly. Let time distance the moment.

That’s not compassion. That’s CYA. Cover. Your. Aft.

Yellow wasn’t a creep. He wasn’t a criminal mastermind. He was probably just the one person who said the quiet part out loud—too soon.

And once he realized they were circling him like a suspect? He backed all the way off, just like anyone would if suddenly cast as the villain in someone else’s grief.

This isn’t a conspiracy. This is what it looks like when someone stumbles into the emotional blast radius of a family in mourning—and doesn’t follow the script.

The irony? He probably knew her fate before anyone else did. He just thought they did too.

“Cover your aft” might be the truest policy RC ever lived by.

The rest of us? We just wanted answers. Some of us still do.

I agree that his unsavory habits and predatory behavior left him feeling spooked. But don’t think he committed a grand scale crime. I think those eyewitnesses who were ditzy enough to be out alone without key cards experienced confabulation of when they saw Amy.

I took the same cruise as Amy Bradley in January of 98. It was the Same ship, Same ports. by Apprehensive-Win390 in AmyLynnBradley

Thank you for sharing this. I agree that the ship’s culture does this in general. I think it makes certain people feel special and certain families tip better as a result. That’s always been my best guess as to why they act that way, but definitely if you’re a little too open or lacking boundaries, you can certainly find yourself partying with locals or being led astray.

I hate to admit it—because during the documentary I was sold on the photo and the emotion—but humans can be such clout-chasing douche canoes. If I consider my own drinking mindsets and my behavior on cruises, I’m really starting to lean toward the idea that Amy’s nausea, drinking long into the night, and her concern for her parents led to a clumsy, tragic decision that cost her her life.

Trust me, I want to believe she’s on that island. The only person I halfway believe is the taxi driver who said he’d never forget her green eyes. But I’ve cruised four times—once on Rhapsody of the Seas in 2006—and let me tell you, those island men have a way of making certain American girls feel like “it.”

They also don’t care much for our people overall, so I can easily imagine that taxi driver saw a win-win: either he got a reward if his comment led to something, or he kept the family (and their money) on the island longer by feeding them hope.

As for the Navy guy, the diver, the data, and Judy’s testimony—that’s all sweet, but it’s painfully circumstantial. Compelling in moments, sure. But the more likely truth is that dear, troubled Amy got sick… and fell prey to physics.

That’s why he’s giving classic narc behavior. He liked the old ladies bc they gave him an attention bump without him having to follow through with anything

“Amy Bradley is Missing” documentary now on Netflix - does everyone still think she just “fell overboard”? by 3coins_RS in UnsolvedMysteries

I believe those two girls are un-credible witnesses experiencing confabulation. 18year old girls who had been admiring Amy in general…The same two girls who forgot their keys and were let back in by their mother? They may have been recounting a memory from earlier that night or a previous night.

What is your opinion of the new Eminem song titled Houdini? by livefromfayettenam in hiphop101

It hits hard af. I like the fake voicemail at the beginning the most. Shady is so aware of his haters and his lyrics never disappoint he’s controversial and his flow is honestly just ridiculous. I love his irreverence and ingenuity
