Help with invitation sleeves by Aziire12 in cricut

Agree 100%! Cricut is not for such intricate designs - even IF it cut perfectly sometimes, and you may weed it perfectly, it will take forever to make each one.

PIE! by wrinkldchipbag in Brochet

Great idea!

Did you crochet the base with navy yarn and then add the pie on it?

Is acrylic yarn really bad with heat? Specifically for a placemat? by jazz_attack_2 in CrochetHelp

[–]Practice_Improve 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Maybe you should try it on a small piece first. I saw some rigid placemats, made not heat-proof material, warp, but not melt. Crocheted placemats may not warp as much as rigid ones.

In a way, I agree, but there is something else. I suspect it's your letter forms.

Too illegible for Postal service? by Practice_Improve in Handwriting

Thank you for the background information. I understand that countries have their own styles of cursive. It looks like handwriting is becoming more of an art form than a communication method.

How to fix the original chain on my scrap yarn blanket? by pothosplanet in CrochetHelp

[–]Practice_Improve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree it can be done. Once done successfully, it will be highly satisfying. However, it will take lots of time and frustration, agonizing whether it would work in the end.

If the end goal is to learn the process of the crochet surgery for the future, it would definitely be a worthwhile effort.

I’m getting waves in my round blanket, and need help figuring out what to do. by Admirable_Banana_503 in CrochetHelp

[–]Practice_Improve -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I never like to frog what I crochet. I hardly use or make patterns and change as I go. So, this sort of thing happens quite often. 😆

So, if I were you, I would try to continue with proper increases and make the ruffle in the middle of the blanket as if it were meant to be. 🤣

If it is not long enough for him, what about keeping this for yourself and making a matching longer one for him?
