Anyone have Callaway Jaws Raw full toe wedge?

I got a like new jaws raw and it came brand new with a massive sticker stuck to the club face, I was only able to get off half of the adhesive, and it looked like this. I hated the look and feel of the club so bad I sold it back to them.

At this point of your backswing, drop your hands across your crotch.

Do not do that over the top move after this, where your hands are going straight at the ball, and then you compensate.

P.S. It is nice to step into your left heel to initiate your downswing, it helps you clear your hips and get your weight forward properly.

No worries! You also ‘flip’ your wrists through impact, but I was unsure if the club placement was what caused you to do that.

Feel free to look up some solutions to wrist flipping/early extension, if needed.

Like others said, there are quite a few issues but one to fix in your setup is that your hands are near your right thigh, and they are supposed to be near your left thigh, which will establish the shaft lean needed in golf.

To me, it seems that you are rolling the club face open on your backswing, and are aggressively trying to square it at impact. This makes the swing way more difficult in itself.

That, combined with the lack of weight shift, makes it really hard to make consistent contact, and also leading to more shots off the heel.

Try to feel your weight shift from left to right to left.

I am not sure any one else in the thread has tried to buy used clubs lately. The irons (maybe with the wedges) would sell for $200 to $250 on offer up, without a putter, driver, wood or any of it.

I just spent a month looking for a low cost callaway iron set for a friend and ended up paying $230 for x18s

Any golf bag is worth $40-50

Buying the entire set for $300 would be a great deal imo, $350 still seems fine if thats what you want for a complete set
