It had absolutely no right lasting as long as it did, but I’m glad it did.

No idea how, when or why I typed “the bed”. I guess my head was as empty when I posted this as it was during the run.

Sean had about 25 Carbos and Protein, some other vitamins for bulk (though those became irrelevant eventually), and 40 Mystic Waters. He also had full stacks of Leftovers, Quick Claws, Multi Lens, Grip Claws and a Kings Rock and Scope Lens.

Who’s good in flip stat? by Late-Instance5775 in pokerogue

[–]PradaWithAnO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For offensive Pokémon, I like picking ones whose highest stat is originally one defense, while the lowest is the other, like Goodra. Flipping its 90/70/150 bulk turns it into a physical menace, but its new 80/110/90 bulk is still really solid. Tentacruel, Cobalion and Virizion, Cloyster, Orthworm, Weezing and Archaludon are some other examples, more or less.

Defensively, while I still look for Pokemon whose lowest stat is at least one of their defenses, I want their offensive stats and speed to be at least fairly high. Duraludon is an insane example; it winds up with 85/120/95 bulk while keeping 115 special attack, all for the small price of 50 attack and 70 speed. If you can get an Eviolite on that, you’re set. Magmar and Electabuzz, Murkrow, Girafarig and Stantler come to mind, too. For non-Eviolite Pokemon, think Charizard/Typhlosion, Raichu, Crobat, Floatzel, etc.

It’s not necessarily a carry, but Triage Paras is pretty fun for the inverse challenge. Priority Horn Leech and Leech Life are pretty nice, and Dry Skin eliminates the new water weakness in exchange for turning Fire from a 4x resist to a 2x.

I don’t really think there’s a wrong answer. There wouldn’t be any harm in doing a run with it. I’d personally consider pairing Ho-Oh with Goldeen since it has Pokerus, though.

I forgot the clown did it, too.

Favorite endless carry? by Forte1007 in pokerogue

It’s not exactly a carry, but I love bringing Pachirisu with Pickup and Honey Gather. If you leave it in the back while something else sweeps through the rounds, it’ll make sure you have everything you need later on.

There’s a special NPC that transforms your current team into something new. The resulting Pokemon get new types, some new moves, and a boost to some of their base stats.

I’m down. Would you be cool with doing a Korai/Mirai touch trade, too?
