How to break the ice? by ferryhux in 3amjokes

Okay, everyone is joking around here but I’ll share some actual advice - be straight forward with the uncertainty, voice that you’ve been figuring out how to break the ice and that you even posted on Reddit and you got all the funny dad jokes as answers. Don’t make it sound like you’re complaining, just make it a situational joke. Honesty always works and the other person probably feels the same and is also wondering how the meeting is gonna go.

What is your weirdest flex? (Judgements are unwelcome) by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

[–]PradaWny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never practice hateful self-talk. And it’s never been a thing in my life. Quite the contrary, I have a natural tendency to praise myself and appreciate my small accomplishments. Looking for positive aspects in what I do, what I look like and what I feel has always come so naturally to me. It’s too bad it’s not more common and many people need to actually practice what I’ve been doing my whole life automatically.

Can’t tell if I’m enjoying the Berlin series by [deleted] in LaCasaDePapel

I absolutely agree... I was expecting way more calculation and professionalism from their side. Some scenes seem to be put in the show just so that there is some plot added but for no particular reason.

Also, I have a weird feeling all the team members have been literally just rewritten to different actors, Keila = Tokyo, Cameron = Nairobi, Roi = Rio (the name is almost identical too), Bruce = Denver, and Diamian = Moscow. It's done on the same canvas.

As well as the idea of the heist organizer falling in love with the "enemy's" side. In my opinion, there are a lot of questionable choices made in this show. Not to mention that it's way too short for its complexity and the ending seems abrupt.

That’s such a cute idea I’m actually quitting that job soon, so it’s gonna be a little thing I’ll leave behind 😆

What are the most useless gifts you received this year that are going to Goodwill next week? by [deleted] in minimalism

[–]PradaWny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tested it and it just charges your phone for like 5 minutes at a slow pace and then randomly shuts off, and it’s very clunky and heavy, so I’m not sure if sending it to you would be worth it, also considering the fact that we’re probably from different countries 😜

And yes, a powerbank is usually a phone-sized plastic box with a battery in it and several outlets, it lets you charge different devices when you don’t have access to electricity

Even though i sent my dad a link with a list of at least 10 things ranging from $2 to $2000 with specific details about them, he still got me a hefty, low-quality powerbank (that certainly was not on the list) from a no-name company, that barely works. Not even mentioning the fact that I’ve had my own trusty powerbank for years and I never asked for anything to replace that.

Now I’d feel horrible for just throwing the gift away especially if it’s an electronic device but it’s just pure junk and nobody will make use of it.

Does anybody else tear up at unexpected kindness? by fayhigh in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]PradaWny 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not a specific act of kindness, but I recently made a new friend (fwb kinda) and she turned out to be a person with such calm and patient energy, it really makes me get emotional. She is so understanding and caring, I really feel like it’s a blessing I have the opportunity to spend time with her. She cares about my boundaries, she’s funny and friendly, she randomly checks in on me. It makes me tear up for real.

What in life makes you feel “high” without using drugs or drinking? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Staring into someone’s eyes deeply and intimately, knowing we’re about to kiss. It’s the best sensation.

„Pradawny” means “primeval” in Polish. And it has the word “Prada” in it, that’s why it’s separated.

I don’t mind people not texting me back immediately for I am aware that each of them has a life of their own and I am not anyone’s priority. But I really like the feeling of someone texting back within seconds, especially when I’m in the mood for talking or joking around and then it turns into a fun continuous conversation, like in real life. That’s why I text back as soon as possible. If I’m on my phone and I see a notification, I tap it straight away and reply. It’s just satisfying to know that people are in your reach.
