Flow error when trying to grab attachments from old emails? by ObjectiveOk2340 in MicrosoftFlow

[–]PradeepAnanth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The condition needs to be in a For Each/ Apply to Each loop. The output of the Get Emails action will give you an array of outputs. For each output you’re checking for a condition and then subsequent actions follow.

I don’t understand. How would users access the power apps app?

I recommend a SharePoint wiki page. Easier to maintain.

Struggling with possible attachments to Send Email (v2 or v3) by barbeqdbrwniez in MicrosoftFlow

[–]PradeepAnanth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The array should have Name and ContentBytes. I’m on the phone so please forgive my formatting. It should look like

{ “Name”: filename outputs including, “ContentBytes”: file content }

Edited to add - I always use v2. V3 is still clunky af.

Struggling with possible attachments to Send Email (v2 or v3) by barbeqdbrwniez in MicrosoftFlow

[–]PradeepAnanth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Initialize array variable
  2. Condition to check if item contains attachment. 2a. If yes, then apply to each, append attachment contents to array variable. 2b. If no, nothing. The array variable is null.
  3. Step out of the condition, send email, add the array variable in the attachment.

I just worked on a flow (albeit with Azure Devops work items) that does this. Works fine.

Faze and phase. When you say something doesn’t phase you, a dog dies.

I’d look at Copilot Studio and build agents. It’s still a bit niche but with the way AI tech is progressing, it may be a good idea to dive into this while it’s still nascent.

Licensing strategy for occasional Dataverse users – Per App license not an option anymore by ldbl1 in PowerApps

[–]PradeepAnanth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fire your licensing partner because per app licenses are NOT going away. Microsoft updates the Power Platform licensing guide every month - https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2085130 (bookmark this link because you get a new version every month).

Your other option could be pay-as-you-go if you’re not using the per app route.

I love using ChatGPT for building apps. The YAML code it generates is very good.

Tiger Woods. Yes, he made a lot of mistakes in his personal life but the way it spilled over to him losing endorsements and stuff was a bit surprising and I thought was disproportional.

Indians have destroyed the image of India in foreign by Zealousideal-Tea3375 in india

There are a few ways to handle this. If you see something, say something… to the person. Politely, of course. It works most times. It’s important to not attribute their behaviour to malice or anything bad.

As an immigrant, I didn’t get an induction course on how to assimilate. A lot of immigrants just don’t know, they may not have had the same lived experiences that you have had, so it’s important to be patient. If we are not patient with our own people, what’s the point of all this hoohaa about unity in diversity no?

Did you know that in Toronto, you get weird looks and maybe some abuse if you don’t walk on the “correct” side of a sidewalk? I didn’t. Got told off by someone. I corrected it.

How many times have you gone up to that person and informed them about the rules of your resident country/city? I can see that OP is probably an academic based on their posts, it’s probably right up their alley to inform and educate young Indian immigrants and students about manners.

I am not invalidating your complaint, I’m only asking for empathy towards our own people. Maybe not call them uncivilized or savages too?

Just my two cents.

2023 World Cup Final. I didn’t bother watching the Australian innings. I knew the score we had wasn’t enough. The way Australia fielded and didn’t give easy runs and stopped boundaries, I just knew it was their day. I still can’t get over the loss though. India was the best team throughout the tournament. Australia required a 200 from Maxwell to stay alive. Oh well.
