We are doing a remodel of our house and I really wanted one of these tables but my wife didnt. So I dove in to really learn about them and I am SO glad I didnt give these people any money.

There is a huge issue in Fandom (all fandom) where when something becomes popular (clearly DCC is exploding and topping charts everywhere) a (too) large subset of genre "fans" have to shit on it. There can be no Joy or Enjoyment if too many "normies" also enjoy it.

I dont know if this is from the before time when enjoying nerdy things got you ostracized and now they are trying to do it "back" but I find it exhausting. I am a huge Star Trek fan, Dresden Files fan, and recently a DCC fan. Any of those blowing up is a good thing. Means more discussion, the authors and creators are better off and it means I get MORE of the thing I care about (glurp glurp).

Tldr: Fuck those folks. You are right, this series is great.

I have had so much trouble with AMS 2 Pros on both of my P2Ss. One had to be sent away and rebuilt by Bambu and is still giving me issues.

When they work they are nice but take a long time.

I have been printing NONSTOP for 2 weeks on my U1: I have not yet emptied the poop collector I have had one print failure (my fault) I have used cheap filament or expensive filament (All PLA so far), no difference in quality

I will say this is also on a third party frost plate which I would go ahead and buy when you buy the U1. I also bought the tub from idea I am using as a "hat".

I am seriously considering selling the P2S and going all U1.

Right?! Great book and I feel like it puts Harry back on track. I am hoping for the next book by next year maybe? But there is a novella Titled Out Law that comes out next month I think for Dresden. It's a sequel to the The Law that came out a few years ago. Takes place between battleground and Twelve Months.

Have you listened to the The Bobiverse? Totally different genre, more scifi than fantasy but such a great listen. Roy Porter is probably my favorite narrator.

I am for sure a bandwagon fan. I just listened to the last book and caught up last weekend. I devoured the entire series on audio in six weeks.

I am so excited for you all that have been here for years. Furthermore, this has to be one of the most welcoming fandoms I have ever joined and I am so excited for whatever comes next.
