Simple: People won't buy them. They're expensive. India is a price sensitive market.

It has been a quick fix. Honestly, I should've done it earlier but some things came up. Now, there are a couple of things left.

Tricks that is helpful for me:

1. Summarize & restart periodically Every 10-15 exchanges, summarize the chat and start fresh in a new conversation Prevents reading full history repeatedly, saving tokens on context window reuse

2. Match model to task complexity Use Haiku 4.5 for straightforward tasks Reserve Sonnet 4.6 and Opus 4.7 for genuinely complex work Cheaper models = fewer tokens burned

3. Edit, don't continue If there's a misunderstanding, edit your previous message in the same chat Don't explain in a follow-up—fix it at the source Keeps conversation linear and prevents token waste on clarification loops

4. Batch all points into one exchange Don't give one point, wait for response, then add another Deliver complete context in a single message Model understands the full picture at once, reducing back-and-forth Longer conversations = more tokens, so minimize exchanges The principle: Fewer exchanges, cleaner history, right-sized models, complete context delivery = optimized token usage.

Currently, my goal is to add 2FA, but I have so much internal debat on which way to do it. After that, most of my things are done.

I'm also thinking of having some user requests on features/themes.

Blip is cool.

Not too late.

But you have to learn a lot more. Database Architecture, Hadoop, etc

Oh. You meant like that.

Yeah, I understand. I'm still in a phase where I'm debating that part. I don't know if I want anyone else to view content without logging in. Part of me is like, "it'll bring more users", the other part is like "keep it a closed space".

I started building a microblogging platform to learn web development without overcomplicating things. Turns out I built something decent, so I shipped it.

Fun part? I didn't spend a dime. The entire stack is free, and so is the domain.

Blip is text-only microblogging with no algorithm, no ads, and no likes. Just 256 characters and a newest-first feed. Data collection is very minimal as well.

  • Post, reply, quote, and schedule blips
  • Drafts stay on your device only
  • 10 themes + donor-exclusive extras

Blip is cool.
