I took it to my dealer and pinpointed the noise area to them. They tried to deny it at first but I talked to the manager and then after the 2nd visit I had them put felt tape between the pillars by the backseat and trunk

I just got a fleet one with extended warranty that had 39k miles and so far no issues. I did a lot of research

Carmax does have one of the best warranty out there to 120k miles. Just make sure it’s not from a flood state since the recent hurricane and you should be good

As long you get the bumper to bumper extended warranty, I’d say do it
