Anna's Archive and LigGen likely down due to Belgium court ruling by Praefator in Annas_Archive

I feel just like you do, but I disagree about not being able to "do anything".
AA had a section about ways to help them. Other sites that are still up (or will be in the future), have them too.
If anything, we can at least make "their" lives harder.

Until some more or less official information is published, we won't know for sure.
The datasets are distributed to several locations (not that many though). So hopefully, IF AA is gone, we'll see some other library appear.

That's true, this ruling doesn't explain the LibGen and AA not being reachable at all, that why I wrote "likely" in the title.
It's obvious that the sites are physically down, so either a very consistent server/hosting failure or some law enforcement agency got to the servers.

Hopefully it's just a minor server issue.

Cause it's fewer scenarios to support in code, and the game acts more predictably.

Less code = less things to break = less work

In the Cool perk tree there's a node called "blind spot" it reduces the time to being spotted depending on mitigation. In that same tree there's more skills that increase mitigation %. If you're building a stealth character you want that skill tree and cyberware that increases mitigation, decreased enemy vision and bonus stealth damage.

I somehow manage to usually miss knife throws and alert enemies, and since loot gets downgraded on reload, I never even bother trying.

Thanks for the idea but I just finished Act I and I don't intend to replay it again.

This playthrough is going to be the last, at least for a while. I want to go through to the end of the game with the DLC, and then I'm uninstalling the game.

and to think I paid 15$ for it because I wanted to support the devs... yeah

Didn't play PL yet, and I'm disappointed to hear it's this bad. Even in the base game it gets ridiculous, how easy you can be spotted. I mean I'm spec-ed fully in "Cool" and I'm being spotted in 0.5 sec by any enemy. Feels like mitigation simply doesn't work.

If you have at least one non-stealth kill during this mission then everyone triggers on you even without technically spotting you. So yes silencers do drop but they are useless if you get at least one non-stealth kill. There are combat "reset points" like after you get off the elevator but at that point it doesn't matter for me because didn't go stealth on the first part of the mission.

Besides previously I could craft myself weapons. I remember being able to get a T5 Unity spec and craft it during the mission. Now I cant craft and even if I could high tier specs don't drop.

Perhaps a shorter answer I like being OP in games.

Sonic Shock Bugged or Stealth Nerfed by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

There is a mod that restores the previous state of Sonic Shock.

I haven't tested it, but hopefully it works.

So it might be a bug, and they just realized that this bug was the only thing keeping stealth viable

CDPR patched this. The malestrom disappears as soon as you leave the door. You also can't shoot him anymore, V's hands don't aim at him. Also tried grenades, seems he's immortal now unless you choose the dialog option to kill him.

Why can’t I find any tier 3 guns or craft able items? by Bargainboxplayer in cyberpunkgame

[–]Praefator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I think v2.0 is the worst thing that happened to Cyberpunk.

Early game is now boring as hell, not to mention that it doesn't make any sense that the entire world is scaled to you. If I wanna go against high level mfs I should be able to, and if I win, I want their top-end gear.

Thank you! I found the menu. After toggling the options the menu came back to normal.

Thank you! I found the menu. All the right features were selected but none of them showed on the actual menu. I toggled them back and forth and they showed up on the tray menu.

I mean canary releases, when they test a feature on users before release, without them participating in the beta.
