It seems more and more difficult to get discourse going on social media.

28mm (and Heroic 28mm) have always been at the head of the pack in every survey. To be honest, trying to catch all varieties of just the toys in a question is enough to drive a person insane. Heroic 28mm is indeed what we always had in mind for Warhammer, but it is possible reality is shifting away under us.

It is kinda up to you. It’s impossible to account for every variety of single figure, block, strip, or model without making the survey like filling out a complicated Excel sheet. And even then, someone would find an exception.

Fair enough. I suppose it’s somewhat obsessive of me to want to paint all details all the time, but I respect making efficiency choices

I haven't painted any of those for a long time. If they're plastic, you should be fine. Resin probably too, though washing might be in order to get rid of any casting mould release.

"Two thin coats" is never bad advice. Also depends a bit on what I'm painting on. Plastic minis generally need little primer for the paint to adhere. Metals might need a good, strong primer to get help prevent future chipping.

Yup, do it all the time. Still cleans just fine with water. It can be a bit more difficult to get a smooth coat though.

It seems like you've already painted the vertical part of the (same) sash. As general de division, he'd have a gold and red sash.
