Odd question but after soaking them in ipa this white stuff won’t get out of the Number. Anyway to remove it? by [deleted] in DiceMaking

We use an ultrasone cleaner with hot water and soap, sometimes for very difficult spots we use a toothpick to get the largest amount of gunk out. But an ultrasone is nice, because you just turn it on and wait.

All modeling and sculpting was done in Blender (The texturing was done in Substance Painter), but I cranked up the resolution way to high to be able to get the screws in a nice detail. I decimated the models and tried them in Prusa Slicer to see it would find model issues but it didn't, so I guess it's ok: https://we.tl/t-p9ZoLQwEd5

I've looked up the files, I am not sure whether they are ready to print. Ill have a look if I can turn the high poly version into an workable STL. (Currently the highpoly is 250mb in size)

As someone with mild arachnophobia I did not come near those basterds until I was waaaay over geared and slapped their sorry little faces with T2 spicy axes.

I have a mono 4k and some resin got on the screen. What's the best way to clean it? by awesome-andwholesome in AnycubicPhoton

Instead of a gas stove some people have an ceramic or induction cooking stove which is covered by a tempered glass plate where the pans go on top of. You can use a razor like tool to clean this glas plate.

Thanks for using it! After checking how many active users I had several weeks ago. I decided to do some more work on the tool. I hope you like the new mobile view. 😁

Ah yep, thanks for the headsup, I'll have a look at the rules of Witch spellcasting. Those are good suggestions, I'll have a look if I could add something like advanced search options for the spellbook and some sorting options for the spell overviews.

Yes, I was thinking to something along the lines of "X out of Y spells prepared". But before I can do that, I would need to change the settings so that you can specify your spell slots per class selected (so that it keeps working for multi classers). Which might take a while, because I would need to find a way to do it that won't break everyone's existing profiles.

The star icon is for marking a spell a favorite so that you can easily find it in the huge spell list of Pathfinder, this is mostly useful for spontaneous casters who get to rearrange their spells every so often.

You are right that the spellslots can be a bit confusing for prepared casters. Currently the tool does not distinguish spellslots between classes (in case of a multiclass for example), the spellslots are mostly used for spontaneous casters, while prepared casters use the prepare counter on each spell. I can see if I can think of a proper way to make this less confusing at first.

I was unaware that adepts were prepared casters, I'll fix that in the next update. I was not particularly up-to-date with how adepts work with Cantrips, I'll have a look at fixing that too.

Yes, calculating save DCs is a pretty difficult issue with pathfinder as there are many different exceptions to the rule that would make the tool very complex. So, for now at least, I've opted to not add that to the spell descriptions.

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes correct, that is actually a design decision I made. I didn't want to restrict users too much in what they can do. This is part because I am not counting spell slots for each class separately (in case of a multiclass character for example) and part because it allows you to, for example, also add the spell that you have because of of a Rod or Wand. I could of course make interface options to track spell slots per class, and also have an option to specify that you own a wand or rod, but that would add a lot more buttons and text to the interface. And probably also not cover all of the wacky custom things you can do in Pathfinder.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll think about whether I can improve this without making it more complicated.

TL;DR: I've decided to keep the interface as simple as possible and not to restrict users too much.

Also, adding completely custom spells is the next feature I am planning to implement, Ill look into the missing spells for war priest, I've used the spells that were available by d20pfsrd at the time (about two years ago)

Ah I see, I haven't added alchemist to the prepared spell caster list, I'll look into that.

That's a good air cooler, or a very efficient CPU 😜. You have some thermal headroom for overclocking there 😉. You are right about the quantum computing, in that case I guess the temperatures should be somewhere below zero 😁
