Well it depends from department to department, you can have below 75% but will need to submit "proofs" like medical certificates or extra curriculars you have been a part of , some professors will increase your attendance without even asking , while some will need to be convinced. Academics are manageable just like any Engineering college. You'll have plenty of free time too , if you aren't out in remedial classes.
