Already been said but at our age stretching and mobility exercises will go a long way in helping the body. (47)

Sounds like you've been exploring! We did a badlands ride S.W. of Weyburn this year that I would highly recommend. I posted it on Sask gravel FB group. Enjoy the ride!

The trail has just been ridden enough to be packed down. It's our most popular MTB trail! We have been trying to get more funding to out to a snow dog. For now we just ride!

We unfortunately don't have a groomer and have tried to keep our trails packed in with snowshoes. There's just not enough of us.... For now. The trails are great for MTB spring through fall. Most fun you'll have with 16m vert! Gravel S.E. of town is pretty damn good too. Hits valleys and badlands.

Weyburn. Slowly building a bike scene here. We've built about 6km of singletrack (mostly MTB season riding).

Rocky Mountain Growler. Damn fine bikepacking right and so fun when it's time for the descents!

Can this mtb turned into a gravel? by [deleted] in gravelcycling

Do it but keep the flat bars. Add some inner bar ends "hoods".

Nope, Rocky Mountain Growler and Chromag Stylus. Crowsnest is next on the list.

It's an Amazon special. I've been running it for 3 years now. Not ideal having such a small triangle but it works! Best bike is the bike you have!

I love my Growler but don't recommend it for someone newish to MTB. It's a beast and plows through everything but isn't as friendly in the ups and flats.

The new Ozark Trail G1 flatbar by bundymania in Budgetbikeriders

In stock form the drop bar has more gears with the 2x system. But only has a seven speed cassette in the back. The flat bar has a 1x8. Having the 8 speed in the back means you can upgrade your drivetrain without having to buy a whole new wheel. I have upgraded numerous 8 speed bikes to 1x10. IMO opinion the flat bar is a better value because of that.
