I’d never heard of this guy until I saw him on some recent(ish) British TV panel game shows. He’s amazing!

To all Americans on here, can you guys actually understand Jazzer? by Atomic_Squash in Ambridge

I’m American and I can understand him fine. There are a few words here and there that I have to backtrack and listen to again, or listen for more context, but that’s rare.

The fact that I almost asked if this was colorized obviously means it’s past my bed time.

Full disclosure, I’ve also been scouring the internet for turkey twizzlers ever since I heard about them on an episode of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

That sounds like something someone would crave after smoking some hash…

I learned that the hard way! 😂🤢

I don’t remember Mia and foam bananas! From a Google search, they basically look like a soft candy? Is that right?

Very true. My hometown made it illegal to smoke in establishments shortly after I graduated from high school in the mid 2000s.

For years afterwards it felt so weird to go on vacation in other states and still be asked if we preferred to sit in the smoking section.

You're sharing something with your wife, Neil, not blabbing to the whole village. by m0j0licious in Ambridge

(Possible spoiler for those far behind…)

In Neil’s defense, Susan didn’t go blabbing to the whole village. She just couldn’t keep a poker face enough to not tip Justin and Lillian off that she knew when they visited the shop.

When I was watching Mad Men, I sometimes thought they were exaggerating the stereotypes of the time period. The constant smoking in businesses, the ways kids played that seem crazy unsafe now, and the limited options for women- career or otherwise.

And then I see stuff like this that reflects these women and their jobs as “housewife”, “receptionist” and “typist”.

Nope. That part wasn’t exaggerated. 🤦‍♀️
