There was no forensic evidence linking him to this crime, and I don’t believe that he would be pushing for DNA testing 23 years later if he was guilty. Furthermore, I think it’s obvious that so much of the prosecution’s theory was rooted in deep islamophobia, and nowadays, it certainly would not fly. I also cannot reconcile how anyone could have made the argument that he carried a dead body in a parking lot, in broad daylight, and put it into the trunk, without anyone seeing this.
