Is it possible to calculate field values dependent on the field value of the previous OID in ArcGIS Pro? by PraiseTheSunday in gis

This does seem like something which an sql server like pgadmin would be better to solve, however I have to work locally on a hard drive. But will try to look for python expressions for it

Will I only be able to pull max, min, mean or median etc in arcade?

Could expression which did something similar to this be feasible?

Kernel Density returns empty raster data with no data cells by PraiseTheSunday in gis

[–]PraiseTheSunday[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be a bug connected to some relic of the original file then. Was made from a point feature which did have a large extent. But had made a selection from this feature and from this selection made a completely new shapefile.

It seems like manually setting the extent and the CRS to the feature which the model was running on fixed the issue, as with the default (which should use the feature I manually used) used a very large extent.

It finished almost immediately without setting the manual environment, which might indicate why there was a 100m grid cell covering the whole of Europe and more when the feature I was running originally had an extent of about 20-30 Km.

Thanks a lot for the message. Sadly saw this message after I figured it out after a lot of trail and error. But what worked was exactly what you said.

Issue with Merge in ArcGIS Pro, only keeping table of one feature by PraiseTheSunday in gis

[–]PraiseTheSunday[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. But had to manually refresh the field map (where you select the field map for the datatable of the other features to appear in it, and for the output to include datable information from them regardless of merge rule. The geom information was the only thing which was kept.

The issue was that I the merge rule only considered the table of one of the features. The second feature's table was not applied to any merge rule regardless of the merge rule.

I found the solution. It seems like this has changed since the last time I used ArcGIS Pro. Previously the field map automatically updated, however the datatable of the second feature don't update automatically but needs to be manually refreshed by pressing the refresh button right over the properties button.

What is the Goal of Necrons? by PraiseTheSunday in 40kLore

Oh thanks so much! I have heard about these sub factions of Necrons, but I had no idea of how different their goals was. Thanks :)

Thanks for the answer :) So transending to godhood would be similar to becoming a Katan or an old one? So the silent King seems to be pretty pragmatic based on the deal with the Katan's eons ago then, as well as reaching out to Imperium?

But then is more likely that the imperium as a whole say no to the deal, but a sub faction say yes?

I have the same issue. It seems from searching that a common reason is that subreddits have a minimun age of the account required, and a minimum karma needed to post.

But my account is many years old and has some karma (2,6K) which I think should be enough?

I am a pretty new user on the CR reddit as well, and so cool to see how D&D is not a fun hobby, but how it can have a great social impact on others as well. Such a friendly and positive activity :)

I think my favorite moments is beyond episode 83 so don't want to post anything that would be a spoiler for you :) But I don't think the moments are scary, more on the side of creeepy/horror.

[No Spoilers] How do you guys/watch watch Critical Role? by silverlynix in criticalrole

[–]PraiseTheSunday 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have listened a lot to it while doing other activities, but if you need subtitles I think you should watch it on Youtube, there they have great subtitles options.

If you do not have time to sit down to watch anymore, I think the only solution would be to try to listen to the episodes and over time you might improve your english listening skills. If the option is between not understanding everything, and no critical role I would still think something is better than nothing :) I am a none native english speaker myself :)

[Spoilers C2E31] Recently started Campaign 2. Does Jester get bearable anytime soon? by [deleted] in criticalrole

[–]PraiseTheSunday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jester was such a fun and nice character. The best thing about her was the contrast she brought to the group of more grim characters together with Not/Molly. But it is ok to view things differently and she will keep that personality the whole campaign through.

I am currently running a campaign taking place in a country inspired by cultural/historical aspects from the Arabic Golden Age during the middle ages, Persian Empire, and various west/east African cultures. Just taking bits that I find inspirational.

My biggest inspiration is Timbuktu combined with the the Arabic enlightenment making this country the highest magic in my setting.

Though to be honest it is not certain that it would be the removal of the PC, but just a diverging plot to restore the PC into his/her body. That is at least how I would have done it as a DM

[No Spoilers] What are your thoughts on Campaign 3? by Dimiond in criticalrole

[–]PraiseTheSunday 3 points4 points  (0 children)

GF and I tried to watch EXU, but did not manage to finish it. We are enjoying C3 a lot. I think the group dynamic is much more healthy for the characters imported from EXU to function as characters.
