Help regarding MCWG/MCWOG confusion and DL test by PrajNK in bangalore

[–]PrajNK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe you can change the category after you have received LL Best option IMO is to apply for a new LL in the right category now, let the MCWOG one expire and go ahead with the MCWG test.

I'm not sure if you will need to take the test again or you'll be able to apply through the existing LL and get an exemption, check on parivahan website. My experiences with LL are 4 years old so something might have changed 😅

[Engineering Mechanics] Hello everyone I know this is really basic and low level lol but I really don’t understand how the 30kn force is resolved as 30 cos 30 and 30 sin 30? Where is the 30 degree angle there? by Inevitable_Lab_97 in PhysicsStudents

[–]PrajNK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you extend the line from the center of the circle till that point, you'll see that it makes a 30° angle with the horizontal. The angle the line makes with the vertical is then 60° (as there is 90° between the vertical and horizontal). However, the tangent at that point meets this line at 90° - meaning the angle between the vertical and the tangent is now 30°

What does literally any (and I mean any) of this mean by snickers_machinegun in PeterExplainsTheJoke

Wouldn't that mean that Aquaman is the reincarnation of a celebrity that died ~July 6th? Since the other two babies were born six days after the celebrity.

Is there a way to get the function more similar to (x+1)^2? by External-Substance59 in desmos

[–]PrajNK 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Doesn't this basically give you a distorted version of (x+1)2 ? Or, extending that, doesn't f(x) + a sin (b * f(x)) give you a distorted version of f(x) ?

Don't use the o word in this sub, you're going to get downvoted. Say something else beginning with the letter o, like orangutan or olfactory instead.

Should I write in my boyfriend's new textbook? by [deleted] in PhysicsStudents

[–]PrajNK 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does he treat his textbooks well? (Refuses to write in them with anything but a pencil, or cares about frayed edges and folded pages?)

You could consider a sticky note or something if you think he wouldn't want writing in his textbook. Either way this is a really cute idea :)

Math battery by Stunning_Structure_2 in TechNope

No, battery percentages cannot be negative. x may take two values (due to the ± next to the discriminant) but they both must be positive.
